Shadow raced through the ruins of the ARK. As he ran, visions of his past continued to flow through him..... growing up with Maria, her death at the hands of GUN, and something else...... a promise he made.... He approached the inner sanctum of the ARK, and within it, found the sixth Chaos Emerald. It shimmered in the darkness, calling for him. Shadow hesitated for a second, but placed his hand on the emerald. He felt its power course through his body - it felt natural, as if it had been something he'd lost. Looking out the window beyond the Space Station, he saw the Black Comet orbiting the planet. That was where his destiny lied. The power of the seven chaos now serving him, for the first time in a long time, Shadow was able to control his own "Chaos..... Control." Shadow appeared within the center of the Black Comet, his eyes fixed on the foe in front of him. "You've done well, Rubik. I'm very impressed you've made it this far..." "Paranoid King! Your rule ends here and it ends now! Like it or not.... THE GAME'S OVER!" Paranoid King laughed, "Fool! The Black Arms are more than superior.... we are perfect! Do you really think you have any real chance of defeating us?" he began to laugh maniacally - a thick, groaning laughter raspily echoing through the empty room. "It's you who should be scared, Paranoid King! I made a promise to Maria to save the planet she loved so much.... and I WILL!" "Then get ready to die! Let me show you THE ULTIMATE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE!" "Not so fast" Shadow turned around, shocked to see everyone else assembled behind him. "If you're taking on Rubik, don't think you're not going to take us on as well!" Zinger stepped forward, flanked by Spiritual Maskman and Aaarrrgh, "Chaotix ready!" Freddeh was next, knocking his fists together in anticipation. He chuckled, "No one threatens my island and gets away with it." Duskyblue landed silently next to him, "Nice going, Red" she gave a small smile, "You know I'm always with you, Rubik." "You're the one who killed my Sonic!" Kingofdominaria yelled angrily. As if out of nowhere, a hammer appeared in her hand, "No one takes him away from me." "While I don't enjoy allying with these abhorrent creatures, I still find them more palletable than the likes of you!" Came a voice over a loudspeaker. A small drone flew into the room with the face of Ragnarokio on it, "My Egg Fleet is outside and poised to attack should things turn out badly." Shadow Amber glanced warily at the face of his creator, "Despite the close proximity of Dr. Ragnarokio, target remains locked upon Paranoid King." Rubik smirked, "It seems you have no chance."
The battle was a quick one, but devastating. The comet lay in ruins as Rubik reached for the last Chaos Emerald, which rested upon the dying form of Paranoid King. "Finally...I've got all the Chaos Emeralds!" Rubik announced trimphantly. He felt the power shooting through him - he was truly the Ultimate Lifeform. "This isn't over yet!" PK spit, "The Black Arms will rise again..." "I am Shadow the Hedgehog" Rubik replied simply, "And I made a promise that I intend to keep! With the power of these Emeralds, Black Doom and his army are finished! THIS IS WHO I AM!"
Thank you all for playing this game! It turned out very differently than I expected, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. For those interested, expect Mido and I (or just me; I haven't spoken to him about it yet) to make a post about it in ZD's Setup Discussion Thread. For those of you interested, I also have four more slots open for my second iteration of the Great Expectations open setup on Bulbagarden, so feel free to check it out: https://forums.bulbagarden.net/index.ph ... ngs.282684 I hope you enjoyed the second half of this crossover! It was marvelous meeting the lot of you, and I hope to play with all of you again soon.

minish was a good kill in theory because it caused a lot of heat to fall on argh
winning the disk game cost you the game though probably, and that came down to minish dying, though if you'd passed the disks to town instead of yourselves you could have probably gotten an argh lynch and avoided being outed by disks
the disk game was a pretty big trap in general, which i certainly didn't realize until after it ended

PK proposed it randomly. Zinger was the obvious protection target, so I assented.
I wish he'd chosen someone else, though.
My perma-protector, Freddeh, was actually a bodyguard, so if you *had* chosen to hit me, he would have died in my place. But as long as he lived, yeah I definitely felt as cocky as ever. A private chat between a Cop and Doc-variant, where the Cop is publicly outed and the Doc is in hiding? That's like, every Town Cop's dream come true.
Man, I was so paranoid towards the end there. Everything was too easy, but it also seemed like someone had set me up, and I thought Rag was running a deep cult scheme. And then suddenly everything was fine and we won.

Well, with Deku's crossover game finished, and nothing new on the horizon (on NGA, anyway... I know there's other stuff running on Zelda Dungeon and on Bulbagarden), do y'all want me to throw something into sign-ups? It won't be my next Spider-Man game (not ready yet), but I've got a few other ideas I'd be down with running.... Assuming nobody else is itching to run something? What say you?

GG, hats off to Rag and Zinger, and everyone really who helped gain a Town victory. I had fun being in that large group chat with Rag, haha! Ngl, since she was Eggman I started to wonder if she was Mafia and bussed Sky, but it seemed liked too much of a risky gambit to be true, and I trusted Rag a lot.
Also my role kind of became pointless because of outside chats, sadly. I could find out how many chats targeted players were in, but it included outside chats and not just official chats, so any result I got was a lot of guesswork, even though it worked out that my investigations did help to bring attention to PK because of how many chats he was in, and then it pretty much cleared Minish because she was only in one chat that Rag made. So I really can't complain, it worked out.

Don't let this game fool you. Rag AND Rubik make risky gambits that cost games. It's quite the spectacle.
@Amber:
Missed opportunity.
