This doesn't exist because there's really no point to it. I don't want any vanilla bears in my deck, so I definitely don't want more than 4. There's a reason all the "relentless" creatures have abilities that encourage you to run a lot of them.

Aren't there ways to win with 30-40 of the same creature in your deck even if it's not one with a relentless upside? Is the only design space for relentless creatures having upsides that are gynormous if you succeed in getting a half-dozen out there?

You're right that there's room for other relentless designs. I just don't think a vanilla 2/2 is it. Ideally, it should land in the sweet spot between "so weak I don't want any of it" and "so strong I already wanted 4, and now I get to run even more".

One thought I had was something like:

Migratory Mimic
Creature - Shapeshifter (C)
Changeling
A deck can have any number of cards named Migratory Mimic.
2/1

Which has the benefit of helping less prevalent tribes hit a critical mass.

That is better than you think it is. I can just run 10-15 of the best tribal cards ever printed, regardless of tribe, and then 20-30 of these.

Whenever a nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may search your library for up to three cards with the same name as that creature, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle your library.

Was trying to think of an innovative solution to counter Field of the Dead decks that doesn't involve banning it.

Clear the Field -
Sorcery | R
Exile target nonbasic land. Search its owner’s graveyard, hand, and library for all cards with the same name as that card and exile them. Then that player shuffles their library.

Sowing Salt does exist.

Also, the problem with printing this at two mana is that most decks run nonbasic lands, which makes this a very efficient way to just deny opponents mana. Now, if this was a Ghost Quarter effect instead, that would feel more fair.

Those seem underpowered. They're not strictly worse than Manic Vandal since there might be more targets to choose from when the death trigger goes off, but in a vacuum ETB triggers are stronger than death triggers

To be fair, I created these not to be powerful but to continue in the grand tradition of goblin careerists who destroy the things they are supposed to build and fix.

It seems like the things don't break until the goblin is no longer there to maintain them though

Would you be OK if I dropped their stats to 2/1?

Copy target spell. You may choose new targets for the copy. (The copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)

Make it just spells that target you or permanents you control.
