Here's a new thread idea. Let's post those fun decks that we play that don't win all the time. I'll start off with a janky historic World Shaper deck. I had seen Mono Black's janky deck involving Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, life lands like Plaza of Harmony and Radiant Fountain, and then he would keep throwing the lands in the GY and getting them back with a World Shaper and God-Eternal Bontu synergy.

My deck utilizes the World Shaper/Bontu synergy but ramps up the GY interactions and makes use of Dread Presence instead of Vito as the main damage dealer. Dread is better because it can help you draw the rest of the combo pieces and you can squeeze a lot more swamps into the deck than the 8 lands the MBM deck was using. The MBM deck was centered around Gates, so being able to play on curve with untapped lands helps this deck.

4 x Mire Triton
2 x Glowspore Shaman

4 x Dryad of the Ilysian Grove
4 x Gorging Vulture

4 x Dread Presence
4 x World Shaper
4 x Scapeshift

3 x Unburial Rites
4 x God-Eternal Bontu

5 x Swamp
4 x Forest
4 x Zagoth Triome
4 x Indatha Triome
3 x Overgrown Tomb
4 x Godless Shrine
2 x Woodland Cemetery
1 x Sunpetal Grove

the goal of the deck is to fill up the GY with Triton, Vulture and World Shaper. Get a Dread Presence on the board then use Bontu to sacrifice the World Shaper and all of your lands. This not only draws you a huge chunk of your deck but when Shaper dies, all o f your lands will return from the GY to your battlefield so each swamp will trigger Dread Presence. We're running all the Triomes that are Forest/Swamps even though we're not running the blue from Zagoth Triome. We can use the white from Indatha on the Flashback of Unburial Rites. Unburial Rites is the best recursion for us because we can play it even if we mill it early.

The backup plan to late game board wipes is to drop Dread Presence and Scapeshift on the same turn. That should be a kill, and if not it will draw you into the Shaper/Bontu combo. Edit: Dread/Scape is actually the big end game combo here. Getting to 8-10 lands to be able to play both (or Unburial Rites/Scapeshift) in the same turn is what gives the deck legs.

Dryad turns all of our lands into Swamps, so even those 4 forests, Woodland Cemetary and Sunpetal Grove can become Swamps for Dread Presence.

Edits: Final Edits made. Maxxed out on the combo pieces, added another Unburial Rites and removed the Heroic Interventions. Added 2 Glowspore Shaman to smooth the curve and help with Mill

New Janky Deck!!! These are the Nyxbloom Fields and the lands will kill you but the boars love snacking on Loti too.

Exportable Version:
Spoiler

What we are trying to do is either create a huge Krasis, use Finale of Devastation to find End-Raze Forerunners, or run over them with Questing Beast/Steel-Leaf Champion if all else fails. Or we just win with Nissa.

Our ramp package is unconventional. We have Kiora to untap lands which works especially well with Lotus Field and Nyxbloom Ancient. We can search up Lotus Field with our T1 play Elvish Reclaimer, and for added spice, we counter our Lotus Field activated ability with Replicate//Repudiate. You MUST activate FULL CONTROL in order to be able to counter the trigger. Arena will just add it to the stack and move straight to the sacrifice if you don't go into Full Control. We're running 2 Mass Manipulations as insurance for when our opponent is putting out more threats than we can handle while we are ramping. We also like stealing Ugins and Nicol Bolas planeswalkers or our opponents most problematic permanents. If we're ramping we should be able to steal everything all in 1 go.

4 x Elvish Reclaimer

4 x Repudiate // Replicate
4 x Hydroid Krasis

3 x Steel Leaf Champion
4 x Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner

4 x Questing Beast

4 x Nissa, Who Shakes the World

2 x Discontinuity
3 x Nyxbloom Ancient

1 x End-Raze Forerunners

2 x Finale of Devastation

1 x Island
5 x Forest
4 x Lotus Field
4 x Hinterland Harbor
4 x Breeding Pool
4 x Temple of Mystery
1 x Castle Vantress
2 x Castle Garenbrig

Decklist Edit: The deck's doing so well that I'm going to go ahead and spend another MR WC on it. I'm dropping the two Mass Manipulations for another Nyxbloom Ancient and another Finale of Devastation. It's probable that I want 1 MM and should drop one of either the Steel-Leaf Champion or a QBeast for them. Maybe 1 Kiora.

Decklist Edit: I dropped the 3rd Finale of Devastation and a Steel Leaf Champion for 2 Discontinuity. Reason being that you can use Discontinuity T3 (just like Repudiate) to cancel the sacrificing of lands (we now have 6 cards that can do that for 2 mana) AND, being able to Time Walk the opponent on their Untap step is amazingly powerful, especially if we just dropped our enablers and are scared of a board wipe. I've also updated the Exportable Version for your ease.

Discontinuity is the type of card that helps our deck run smoother. It's going to be helpful during mulligans because now we have to throw away less hands with Lotus Field in them so we'll have more games where we start with 7 cards. It helps get us to 6 mana on T4 more often, and it provides late game bomb potential. Remember, with Nyxbloom Ancient in play you only need 1 Lotus Field or 2 lands (one produces blue) untapped and you get to end their turn as soon as their upkeep starts. Also remember, they may have triggers that you may or may not want to resolve on Upkeep. Exe, if they have Rotting Regisaur you may want to allow that to resolve first. If you're looking at Lethal damage next turn it probably won't matter though.

Alright, so now that I've played several games with Nyxbloom Fields, let's talk about some of the silly **** you can do with this deck.

We'll start with Reclaimer. Starting on Turn3 you can turn him into a surprise 3/4 Blocker. It's not the way the deck want's to ramp because you end up with the same amount of mana. But if you're facing a hyper agressive deck it might be your only means of survival. If you have 3 lands, 2 untapped, you can use his ability at instant speed to surprise block a 3/3 or smaller. Just sac one land for a Lotus Field, and then sac the other two lands to Lotus Field and that puts enough lands in the GY to turn his static ability on.

On Turn 4 with Reclaimer you can use him to search up a Lotus Field and (with Full Control On) pay for a Repudiate to counter the Fields ETB. This will give you enough mana to cast a Nyxbloom Ancient on T5 if you hit your next land drop or have Kiora. It also gets the Reclaimer ready to activate once you find a second lotus. You can also do this with 3 lands and Kiora in play. Just make sure you use Kiora's ability for the 4th mana BEFORE you activate Reclaimer.

Once you have Nyxbloom Ancient in play the deck just goes absolutely bonkers. For example, Castle Garenbrig now makes 18 green mana when activated. So, with 2 other lands, you'll tap them for 6, use 4 of it to activate Castle and end up with 20 mana out of 3 lands.
If you use Lotus Field instead, you'll get 9 from Lotus, use 4 for Castle and end up with 23 mana. We can't use that mana on anything except Hydroid Krasis though because it doesn't work for Mass Manipulation or planeswalkers. Also, you have to then use a blue land because Garenbrig only makes Green. However, having a 24/24 Krasis isn't a bad way to win a game, or at least, refill your hand and give your life total a nice cushion. If I'm going off, I usually won't use all of my mana on a Krasis. Something like a 16/16 Krasis is usually enough and being able to then play whatever you draw on the same turn is nice. You can't use Garenbrig's mana to activate it again if you untap it with Kiora, however, finding 4 more mana with Ancient in play should not be a problem. For a total of 36 mana from 1 land!

I've cast some ridiculous Finale of Devestations for upwards of X=36 once the full ramp package is out. They'll need multiple instant speed removals/bounce or Settle the Wreckage to survive a swing like that.

If you have both Lotus Field/Repudiate and Kiora in hand on T3, what is the stronger play? If you go with Field T3 you can play Kiora with Field and untap it to have 5 (or 6 if you hit your land drop) mana. If you play Kiora T3, then do Lotus Field/Repudiate T4 you can untap the Field with Kiora but you've spent 2 mana on Repudiate. Even if you hit your land drop you only have 4 mana to play with. If you plan to play QBeast or Champion it doesn't matter. If you plan to play Nissa, then you want to play Field on T3. Either way, I would play Field/Repudiate ASAP. If you're facing counterspells I'd rather have Repudiate countered than Kiora. If you get Kiora in play with Field you can still play almost everything in the deck with 1 more land drop. You're a mana down if you get Repudiate off and Kiora is countered. Besides, Kiora is your only draw engine.

Be careful with Nissa and Lotus Field. They do have Hexproof which makes them immune to targeted removal but they can be swept away with Wrath effects. You don't want to lose a Lotus Field.

With that said, you can make ridiculous amounts of mana with Nissa and Kiora even without Ancient in play. With a forest you can make 6 mana in one turn by tap/Activate Nissa/tap again/Activate Kiora/tap again. That sequence on Lotus Field will produce 9 mana. This is a good way to get really big Krasis' which will draw you into the rest of your deck, or to fuel a Finale FTW.

Okay, so for example this is the crazy **** that happened in my last game. They killed my reclaimer T3, so I couldn't go fetch a Lotus Field, but I had Kiora in play. I play QBeast T4. T5 I play Garenbrig, I use it and untap a land to drop Nyxbloom Ancient. T6 shenanigans happened! I activate Garenbrig for 18, drop a second Ancient, untap Garenbrig with Kiora. I then play an 18/18 Krasis, draw and play RazeBoar and attack with it, a 7/7 Ancient from last turn and a 6/6 QBeast. 2nd main I play a 2 Steel Leaf Champions and 2 Reclaimers. T7 I Replicate the Boar for 81 Trample Damage.

I'm going to give you 1 more deck for the Labor Day weekend. Since my last two were Historic I'm going to squeeze in a Standard legal deck before rotation. This one is going to be a Mystic Forge deck. I know people love playing cards off the top of their deck and I usually see them with Bolas' Citadel, Conspicuous Snoop, Radha or Oracle of Mul Daya. I don't see anyone ever using Mystic Forge and it's a pet card of mine so here's the deck.

First, the importable version
Spoiler

4 x The Birth of Meletis

2 x Spinning Wheel
4 x Scuttlemutt

4 x Karn, the Great Creator
4 x Solemn Simulacrum
3 x Mystic Forge
4 x Shatter the Sky

3 x Ugin, the Ineffable

4 x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

4 x Stonecoil Serpent

13 x Plains
3 x Castle Ardenvale
4 x Interplanar Beacon
4 x Radiant Fountain

Sideboard
1 x Sorcerous Spyglass
2 x Entrancing Lyre
2 x Glass Casket
1 x God-Pharaoh's Statue
1 x Parhelion II
1 x The Circle of Loyalty
1 x Wand of Vertebrae
3 x Meteor Golem
1 x Mystic Forge
1 x Soul-Guide Lantern
1 x Shadowspear

We have a Ramp package to help thin the deck for Mystic Forge and to help get us to Ugin. We've got Birth of Meletis, Scuttlemutt, Spinning Wheel and Solemn Simulacrum to help get us there. Besides just ramp, the Scuttlemutt can be used to turn an artifact creature of your opponnents into a colored creature so that U6in can target it and U8in can sweep it.

Shatter the Sky and Birth are the only colored spells in the deck. If this were historic you could probably replace Shatter with ratchet bombs and birth with Mind Stones so as not to interfere with Mystic Forge's top deck rules but we're in standard for now. Besides, those two spells help us survive agro decks long enough to win some games. I had thought of using Mazemind Tomb for Birth but I think guaranteeing the land drops is more important, as you might wiff on a few scrys. And the 0/4 wall is very relevant in some matchups.

One of the fun things to pull out of the sideboard is Parhelion II because you can use Karn's +1 to turn it on by itself, then it attacks as a 8/8 bringing in two angels with it.
Circle of Loyalty is also a lot of fun. We have 11 legendary spells and it pumps up the U6in and Ardenvale Tokens as well as making tokens on it's own.

U6in + ability can be used with Mystic Forge to really tear through the deck. Don't be afraid to us it's tap ability, you'll be making quite a bit of life with Birth, Radiant Fountain and Interplanar Beacon. Once you get to 8 lands you can just mill those right off the top, or turn them into colorless 2/2s. You can also use a Simulacrum to shuffle the deck and put something new on the top. I always play spells off the top instead of from the hand, unless it's one of the Ugins. Just be careful not to deck yourself, I've gotten down to only have a few cards left in the deck before.

Also be careful with the Glass Caskets coming in out of the sideboard. U8in will sweep those right away with everything else and leave your opponent with whatever was under them. Because of that, I like the Entrancing Lyre a little better, but sometimes your opponent is just to aggressive for you and you need one early.

Anyone have any ideas for a deck or a 3 or 4 card combo they want to see come to life?

I've edited the decklist for Nyxbloom Fields and added an (lengthy, sry) explanation for the card I added.

Mystic Forge rotated to Historic so I have updated the Ugin deck to historic. The swap out will cost 4 rare WCs and 1 mythic depending on what sweepers you have.

Again here is the importable version:

Spoiler

And here is the deck:

4 x Stonecoil Serpent

4 x Mind Stone

4 x Powerstone Shard

1 x Settle the Wreckage
3 x Shatter the Sky
3 x Mystic Forge
4 x Solemn Simulacrum
2 x Myriad Construct
4 x Karn, the Great Creator

4 x Ugin, the Ineffable

3 x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

4 x Buried Ruin
8 x Plains
3 x Castle Ardenvale
4 x Interplanar Beacon
3 x Radiant Fountain
2 x Crawling Barrens

Sideboard
1 x Sorcerous Spyglass
2 x Glass Casket
1 x God-Pharaoh's Statue
1 x Parhelion II
1 x Forsaken Monument
3 x Meteor Golem
1 x Soul-Guide Lantern
1 x Shadowspear
1 x Meteorite
3 x Ratchet Bomb

The biggest change is getting to go full into the artifact ramp with Mind Stone and Powerstone Shard. Along with the new Forsaken Monument we can generate massive amounts of colorless mana in the mid-late game. Also by removing Birth of Meletis for Mind Stone we run into less roadblocks for Mystic Forge. I'm still running white as looking through the Castles available and the colored Artifacts that can come out of the Sideboard from Karn I still feel like the white sweepers and Glass Casket along with Castle Ardenvale are the best package we can get from a single color. I'm not spending WCs on Wrath of God yet but that's what I'd replace the Shatter the Skys with. It's just a strictly better card. You could go with 2 Settle the Wreckage, but I only have 1, and this is janky.... right?

With Forsaken Monument now, it's one of the first cards I go for with Karn. Situationally you may have to go for a Golem or Casket but after that you really want to get that Monument out asap. Often you'll want it in play before either Ugin, it's just that good. Sometimes my first grab will be Meteorite so I can take out a X/2(1) and then use Karn's ability to turn it into a 5/5 blocker, which also happens to get you to enough mana for U6in.

The Myriad Construct and Crawling Barrens are the only Rares that I've added to the deck for the new set. I did swap one more U6in for one less U8in as well. The deck has been winning quite a bit on the "Play" historic lobby.

Now that we don't have Birth of Meletis the Stonecoil Serpent often needs to be played on turn 1 or 2 if you have either Stone and Karn in hand. Even if you don't know what your opponent is playing yet, or especially if they're playing aggressively, you'll want him as a blocker much more than you'll need him later.

I think I'm going to try putting my FNM decklists here too. So, here's the first edition. This weeks FNM is Singleton. In Singleton you can only have 1 of each card in your deck instead of the normal 4-of that you are allowed of each card. The exception to this rule is basic lands obviously, and unobviously the exception is any card that says you can have a certain number of them in your deck like Seven Dwarves or Persistent Petitioners the latter not being Standard Legal. Normally the goal is to form some sort of consistent synergy in the deck in which the cards can play off of each other and build some powerful effects. I have eschewed that goal this week in the goal to just build the quickest deck to outsmart all of those smarty-pants deck builders who want to go over the top with powerful interactions. So I must be running RDW.

And here's the deck:

Creatures
1 x Sneaking Guide
1 x Goblin Arsonist
1 x Fireblade Charger
1 x Fervent Champion
1 x Blisterspit Gremlin

1 x Robber of the Rich
1 x Magmatic Channeler
1 x Fissure Wizard
1 x Embereth Shieldbreaker
1 x Careless Celebrant
1 x Blood Aspirant
1 x Chandra's Magmutt

1 x Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner
1 x Anax, Hardened in the Forge
1 x Bonecrusher Giant
1 x Bolt Hound
1 x Relic Robber
1 x Irreverent Revelers
1 x Grotag Night-Runner
1 x Phoenix of Ash
1 x Merchant of the Vale

1 x Embereth Skyblazer
1 x Torbran, Thane of Red Fell

1 x Ox of Agonas

Instant/Sorcery
1 x Shock
1 x Claim the Firstborn

1 x Thrill of Possibility
1 x Fire Prophecy
1 x Scorching Dragonfire
1 x Unleash Fury
1 x Roil Eruption

1 x Molten Blast
1 x Flame Spill
1 x Fateful End
1 x Slaying Fire

1 x Mythos of Vadrok

Land/MDFC
18 x Mountain
1 x Castle Embereth
1 x Shatterskull Smashing
1 x Akoum Warrior
1 x Valakut Awakening
1 x Kazuul's Fury
1 x Spikefield Hazard

And here is the exportable version: (Just highlight the whole thing, copy it, and go into Arena>Decks and hit Export)
Spoiler

I went mono-colored because of the land issue. There are only 3 dual lands that you can put in your deck that are legal in standard right now. I had ran a UB Flash deck, but I always had problems with the mana. Now I always get to play things on T1-4. I added quite a bit of card draw without compromising the aggressive nature of the deck. The deck is currently 5-1. The only questionable card so far is Blood Aspirant. I played him once and never sac'd anything and every game after that I've thrown him away to draw something else. Oddly I've had that card in every game but 1 so I think Arena is trying to tell me something.

I didn't post a deck for FNM this week because it was just Standard and I think everyone knows how standard is ironing out for now... I know, PM me and tell me how horrible I am for missing only the second week after I said I was going to do it weekly. :(

Anyways, here's the deck I'm using for the Historic Artisan event. I know some people just want to get in, get the win and the 1000XP and be done, so here's a deck you should be able to get a quick and easy win with.

Here's the exportable version:

Spoiler

And here's the version with card links:

4 x Roost of Drakes
4 x Bloodchief's Thirst
4 x Shell Shield
4 x Reclaim the Wastes

4 x Blink of an Eye
4 x Tazeem Roilmage

3 x Grow from the Ashes
4 x Cunning Geysermage
3 x Murasa Sproutling
2 x Taunting Arbormage

7 x Forest
2 x Swamp
5 x Island
4 x Thriving Grove
4 x Thriving Moor
2 x Thriving Isle

Deck plan is pretty simple; ramp early, bounce their stuff, maybe play a mage if their really aggressive. Once you start kicking stuff you go get everything back from the GY and do it again with the Roilmage and Sproutling. Hopefully you get a Roost or two out and fly in for the win, if you don't do that you can always use Arbormage to alpha swing for the win. I usually mulligan the first hand or two looking for a Roost of Drakes. It's okay to play Roost for 1 mana if you want to Kick Into the Roil or Bloodchiefs Thirst on T4, or kick a second Roost on T4.

I went with the Thriving lands because even though we only have 1 black spell it needs BB to kick, and most of our stuff needs either UU or GG to kick. Modal lands work well here giving you what you want... coming into play tapped sucks but hey, it's Artisan.

As promised; here is your weekly FNM deck!!!! WOOOHOOOO lets get in there and win some Rares (hopefully no whammies) and show these fools what a truly aggressive Brawl deck looks like. If you can't tell, I'm a little excited! I love this format, and I love the deck I have built for it. SO! With no further ado! I present to you! One of my ALL TIME favorite cards! The DIVA herself! JUDITH! She's a hot girl! She does hot girl ****!

As always, here's the exportable version:

Spoiler

And here's the sorted visual version! You're gonna love this!
Commander
1 x Judith, the Scourge Diva

Companion
1 x Obosh, the Preypiercer

1 x Fervent Champion
1 x Vampire of the Dire Moon
1 x Serrated Scorpion
1 x Knight of the Ebon Legion
1 x Goblin Arsonist
1 x Foulmire Knight
1 x Goblin Banneret
1 x Grim Initiate
1 x Gutterbones

1 x Spikefield Hazard
1 x Malakir Rebirth
1 x Purphoros's Intervention
1 x Shock
1 x Weaponize the Monsters
1 x Skewer the Critics

1 x Relic Robber
1 x Grimdancer
1 x Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin
1 x Legion Warboss
1 x Midnight Reaper
1 x Shatterskull Charger
1 x Murderous Rider
1 x Phoenix of Ash
1 x Liliana's Standard Bearer
1 x Crystalline Giant
1 x Anax, Hardened in the Forge
1 x Woe Strider
1 x Bonecrusher Giant
1 x Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner

1 x Chandra, Acolyte of Flame

1 x Inscription of Ruin
1 x Bastion of Remembrance
1 x Bedevil
1 x Call of the Death-Dweller
1 x Ob Nixilis's Cruelty
1 x Soul Sear
1 x Theater of Horrors
1 x Heraldic Banner

6 x Swamp
7 x Mountain
1 x Dragonskull Summit
1 x Fabled Passage
1 x Temple of Malice
1 x Blood Crypt
1 x Bloodfell Caves
1 x Castle Embereth
1 x Castle Locthwain
1 x Command Tower

The game plan with this deck is pretty simple. Slam 1 drops on T1 and 2 and then back them up on T3 with something like JUDITH, or a Bastion, Banner, Anax, or Standard Bearer/Midnight Reaper. As all of those are going to pay you back if your opponent drops a sweeper T4.

You could play the Rakdos Guildgate and the Cinder Barrens but to many tap lands will slow the deck down and you need to be active T1-4.

Notice too, We play with both Judith and Obosh. Starting the game with a 9th "card" that reads "Pay 3 mana, put bomb in hand" is especially benificial to our deck. We do lose out on a few things, mainly Robber of the Rich but we really don't care about playing our opponents cards because our deck is so good and all of our cards work together well.

When playing Banner, remember that there are 12 Black Creatures and 14 Red Creatures (Obosh and Judith being in both catagories) 1 Colorless Creature, 1 White Creature (Bastion), and 3 permanents that make Red Creatures. So, barring a board state that would lean you towards Black, choosing Red is usually the right mode. Of course if you're having mana issues with 1 of the colors you can use it for that as well.

Don't forget to pay for Goblin Banneret before you attack if you are wanting his Mentor Trigger!

Have fun and good luck guys! I double wammied and only earned 40 gems. 2 new rares would have been nice.

I'll see your 100 cards and raise you 23!

Indatha Yorion Food

That's right, everything that's good to bounce with Yorion and all the good food cards (plus some that never see play)!

Here is the importable list:
Spoiler

And here is your sorted visual list:

Companion
1 x Yorion, Sky Nomad

4 x Light of Hope
4 x Gilded Goose

4 x The Birth of Meletis
4 x Tangled Florahedron
4 x Trail of Crumbs
4 x Charming Prince
4 x Glass Casket

3 x Omen of the Sun
4 x Llanowar Visionary
4 x Skyclave Apparition
4 x Banishing Light
3 x Treacherous Blessing

1 x Legion Angel
3 x Extinction Event
4 x Shatter the Sky
2 x Bake into a Pie
4 x Solemn Simulacrum
4 x Wicked Wolf

4 x Elspeth Conquers Death
3 x Yorion, Sky Nomad

4 x Feasting Troll King
2 x Taste of Death

3 x Turntimber Symbiosis
3 x Emeria's Call

1 x Ondu Inversion

2 x The Great Henge

6 x Forest
6 x Swamp
4 x Temple of Plenty
6 x Plains
4 x Branchloft Pathway
4 x Brightclimb Pathway
4 x Indatha Triome

Sideboard
1 x Legion Angel

It plays just like any other Yorion Food deck but with a little more randomness due to the extra 20 cards, not that Yorion decks are the most consistent anyways. I threw Legion Angel in there just as another flying threat. You could drop them and throw in the 4th Omen of the Sun I won my first two games with it. They both went more than 12 minutes.

The Horde

4 x Lotus Cobra
4 x Bonecrusher Giant
4 x Valakut Exploration
4 x Dryad of the Ilysian Grove
4 x Scute Swarm
1 x Radha, Heart of Keld
4 x Terror of the Peaks
4 x Ashaya, Soul of the Wild
3 x Ancient Greenwarden

Land (28)

4 x Spikefield Hazard
4 x Turntimber Symbiosis
3 x Mountain
9 x Forest
4 x Cragcrown Pathway
4 x Fabled Passage

This has been getting me about 50% wins. Not great, but so fun when it goes off, and there are several ways it can go off. Some ways I have won:

Mass horde of Scute attack.

I went from a few scute to just over 2000 on the stack....with a Terror out...in one turn (It was a stalemate game and I had a few Lotus out and eventually 3 Greenwardens. I think the initial swarm was about 10 or so, but didn't get the terror until the last activation when I had about 500 already on the board. The swam must grow.)

20+ points in one trurn from a few Valakuts out

Ashaya coming down with Terror out. Bonus points, it triggers twice with Greenwarden out as well...so when I played my 12/12 Ashaya, it hit for 24.

Radha hitting for a ton (only once, it is rare that I can get one through)

The deck is a bit slower and is very vulnerable to Rogues (All their removal and fliers. Main reason Bonecrusher is in deck) and early Embercleve. . Control is not as bad as I though since Valakut can add up throughout the game, but Ugin is pretty much game over.

The deck can be very streaky. I have won 5 in a row feeling like nothing could beat me, and then lost just as many where I felt I had no chance. It is very comboy though, and in several different ways so I have fun with it.

Basically, the general idea is with Valakut out (the card I built the deck around to see if I could break Valakut) you can play an insane amount each turn, and multiple out do wonders. Although many cards work well with Valakut, the best is Ashaya. With Ashaya out, basically any card you play will trigger landfall. You can get a ton of triggers with Ashaya out, and if you have a few Cobras out, you can extend it even longer. 2 cobras and a Greenwarden will basically let you go through most of your deck, but that is rare (Although I have done it more then a few times)

Even with no Valkut, you can do some crazy things with Terror+ Swarm or Terror+Ashaya, it just does not have the ability to continue to "go off" that Valakut gives you.

The deck can be tuned a bit, but most the parts are pretty necessary.

Take it for a spin and see what you think. More a fun deck then a competitive deck (although it is not horrible, just not T1 or even upper T2)

Very very nice. I have a similar Valakut Exploration deck but I didnt think to run Terror of the Peaks or Bonecrusher Giant. Might I make 1 suggestion, Kazuul's Fury, just 1 or 2. With 2 in the deck, I win most often by using Fury to fling Ashaya at my opponents face. If you dont have Ashaya, it's another landfall trigger

Thanks, I will try it. I had at one point, but it was not used as more then a land so I replaced it....but that was an earlier version. Kinda same with the red Fireball land. I keep switching some of the lands in and out, but have not found the right balance yet.

Love some fling/kazuul... this has been good enough to climb through all of gold and half of platinum in the last 2 days at least, BO1 jank.
Technically 45 spells with 15 lands to fill up an overload large enough to fling.
turns out dealing 4 damage and a clip of counters can be effective right now
Rakdos (with the ox) has been the hardest matchup. Rogues, gruul, and yorion seem favorable.
I'm always trying to win with something outside of the tier list so I persist. enjoy

4 opt
4 frantic inventory
2 cathartic reunion
3 thrill of possibility
2 thirst for meaning
4 essence scatter
4 negate
4 jwari disruption
2 mystical dispute
4 storm's wrath
2 thundering rebuke
2 blitz of the thunder-raptor
1 cinderclasm
3 kazuul's fury
4 experimental overload
4 temple of epiphany
4 fabled passage
4 island
3 mountain
