You know... you might be right about that!

I´m on 11 red sources and testing Orzhov Enforcer.
I will test 25

I'm not convinced about Fiend Artisan, still play testing but - it's a sad boy when Woe Strider and Kroxa takes out creatures from the graveyard, and its sac ability is clumsier than both Witches Oven and Woe Strider. I've had the odd game where I won by tutoring Mayhem Devil from my library, but it feels like a rare thing.
I don't think I want to cut my Claim the First Borns.

I'm seeing a lot of this deck in BO1. What deck decisively crushes this one?

No deck decisively crushes this deck :P
Made the Mythic climb with it already yesterday.
I recorded the last step vs Gyruda.

I´m using Lazotep Reaver in the main too, and we are now ramping with Priest a LOOOT.

What's your current version, and how would you build it for BO1?

The way I play it is to try to enable Priest ASAP, with her on the board you just drive your opponent nuts, also try to make use for the mana, meaning you sometimes wait for your turn back to sac your guys.

I'm running 3 Lazotep, 3 Woe and 2 Lurrus ATM.

For BO1 lazotep is far better coz it can survive a block vs RDW. Lurrus is a T4-T5 play... Just as you can make use of your mana.

Getting back your Reaper each turn with Priest on the biard is very back breaking.

I'm testing Judith on the SB for the control match-up.

Interesting call with Lazotep. I’ve been feeling for a while like priest was the worst card in Sacdos decks the last couple sets - just haven’t been seeing the value when you’d rather your cat go to oven and don’t want to give up your ping devils - just too slow to get the necessary number of creatures on board where priest can really shine. Seemed her real value was in threat of activation, being somewhat of a removal magnet. Lazotep gives you an activation you’re completely happy with T3 - you’re not even going down a card to do it.

Did you go with 25 lands or did you go up to 4 Priests to ramp a little?

Gives us extra bodies to sac and if you are running into removal or a board wipe you can just stack them on the board, keep the pressure up and force the removal without wasting your mana.

The card is super good in a sacrifice deck.

Like you can go
T1 Whisperer
T2 Priest
T3 Fetch for the other Whisperer sac them, remove a creature draw a card and put a 3 drop on the board.

Brainstorming:

You mentioned Judith in the SB. Have you considered running Castle Embreth to boost her damage output? I don't like pulling any more untappable red sources from the deck (Dreadhorde Butcher reasons) so I'd pull 1 swamp from the main deck and put a second in the SB. Maybe I'm trying to be to cute with that one. That's a lot of mana for a deck that tends to tap out anyways.

Also, I think I'm want to playtest with 2 Rankles in the deck. Is the "damage to a player" clause to much though? Because of all the flying/Reach in Ikoria and Dream Stomper (trawler)?

Rankle is good, maybe with the extra bodies from Ikiora it could be better, but I don't think is better than the existing top end.
I have tested from time to time, but never stuck on the main.

Tapped red only sources are just not going to make the cut.

Ugh, I hate this deck. The reach it offers is insane, almost feels like one needs dedicated lifegain to beat it. The new 3 mana card that drains on death, as well as Cruel Celebrant, don't help. Lurrer as a free creature that can also recast something from the graveyard (i.e. is very threatening) is also a problem.

Like, yesterday I lost to this deck in spite of having Ethereal Absolution in play, because the cat still enters the battlefield, Priest of Forgotten Gods survives, and he had enough Ovens to ding my last three life points. And that's in spite of Jeskai Fires being a deck with dedicated lifegain.

Don't know what it's like in BO3, but maybe people will start running graveyard hate. Best one is probably (?) Kaya, but Grafdigger's Cage is also in the format, even if that works only against Lurrer & the cats. Maybe Leyline of the Void? That would also neutralize Midnight Reaper, Kroxa, etc.

Grafdigger's Cage is kind of a reason for RakSac to go BO1 imo, but what do I know. Fires of Invention decks can tutor for Cage in BO1.
Anyway, Lurris/Kroxa hit #1 Mythic on Arena yesterday, so yeah. Good times for RakSac.

Cage is the most important sideboard card now, it hits a lot of the top decks - Sacrifice decks, Gyruda decks and Winota decks are all crippled by it.

In BO3 i'd be starting my sideboards off with at least 3 cages at the minute

Cage is a problem, but if cage goes in we can also just hit face and side in Judith.

Lurrus is broken... And Winota... I'm already preparing a thread about her... She is bananas!!
