but with 4 4-drops do we need a 5th? Yeesh, seems clunky. I'd rather ship my crappy land top decks to my library and net myself two cards.

That's why I don't like the idea of a blue card. When you go ramp, crappy land topdecks are like no.8 forward.

This draft is a lost cause more or less. We picked a big critter, then we picked some acceleration, and we passed two removals that completely destroy our game plan. What are we going to do about the leveler deck? Watch while it builds up and kills us?

Too early to say it's a lost cause. Green/red spawn - Broodwarden or Raid Bombardment both stand a decent chance against levelers. Spawn - Eldrazi can just power through. Levelers has a bunch of flyers which is why I chose leaf arrow.

I think I'd rather have another eel umbra. Seems like the wavewatches are pretty easy to pick up, whereas the Umbra provides some resilience.
