Would probably break Modern in half, but I'm still surprised it hasn't been printed at all, at some other mana cost. Arcane Tutor and, more recently, Spellseeker, are the closest we've gotten since Merchant Scroll.

I don't think Arcane Anticipation is that far off. Compare it to Invent which searches for an instant and/or sorcery card at . But it's at instant speed.

I'd cost it , probably. Maybe if you're feeling saucy.

I feel like Future would be more flavorful if it tutored to the top of the library

I compared Schism to Persecute and considered it marginally worse, which is why I gave it a slightly more aggressive cost.

That said, curving into it on the play is probably a bit too oppressive, so 4 might be the proper cost.
