If you check so infrequently, you may fall victim to a knife in the back.

Sorry, I am never on this forum unless in an active game, so didn't realize this was happening. But now that I know I will check several times daily, so shouldn't hold up the picks anymore.

No worries Dusky, it's not like people were really waiting THAT long. People are just impatient and want to start playing. :V :roll:

They don't realize the draft is half the fun! :D

And obviously the whole process would go a lot faster if everyone logged on at once, but we can't expect that of people. Everyone lives in different time zones. Aaarrrgh is in Australia (if I'm not mistaken) for heaven's sakes, which is the other side of the world from me.

Most players are in their 5th or 6th picks now, with one eager player waiting on his final round 1 pick. Round 1 will be done soon I suspect, and then Round 2 should be even quicker now that everyone is on the same page. I suspect we'll have this game properly launched by... Thursday I predict. Maybe sooner.

I'm in Sweden, actually. But your point still stands.

Honestly, recent politics in Sweden haven't been great either. Better than many other places, but not nearly as good as it could be.

I would never.

You've got the likes of PK and JD to worry about.

And Skystone, wherever he got off to.

Elijin is in Aussieland.

I'm your neighbor Zinger. Last I checked, you weren't fond of me. Not that I blame you. I'm not fond of me either.

PaK tried to knife dusky in the back once. It didn't end well. JCP can attest.

Knifes KoD in the back.

Ummm... I am pretty sure the likelihood of getting stabbed in the back by the people on this list is:

KoD
PK
Skystone
...
Jay

:p

I don't know if I should drag politics into this, but (as a Canadian too) why do you think the government hasn't been kind to us? We can take this elsewhere too if you'd rather, but I'm curious.

:bored:

I should point out I live in Ontario, and my gripes are predominantly with the province more than the country as a whole. Doug Ford is like Donald Trump-Lite.

But also, screw Justin Trudeau. Screw him right up his smelly rear windpipe. He earned my ire forever by breaking his word in the first election he won to change election politics in our country.

@Dusky:

I think this just underscores who is more likely to stab you in the back.

Also, Sky wounded me in my heart.

But JD is here so I'm ok.

:V

@HW:

You mean we both lost right? Because I'm assuming you're talking about the first Epist. Ah, so many ups and downs in that game. Great triumphs as well as crushing defeats.

at least wrt being extraordinarily right-wing economically. Donald trump isn't actually that much further right than most republicans, is my impression. I feel like ford's government wants to slash as many public services as they can possibly get away with and as quickly as possible, and spend as much money as they can get away with subsidizing big businesses. He makes donald trump look subtle.
