Hello.

I'm here mostly for storylines associated with Magic, though I guess I'm quite behind when it even comes to the new stuff.
It's a dilemma really. I don't like spoilers, but can't afford the time right now to go back and do it all "properly", you know.
So my activity will probably be of limited extent, at least for now.

Cheers!

There is a certain mention in this post by an ex-WOTC employee that may catch the attention of the good folks round here.

"the DOMINARIA setting (an abandoned project)"

*sigh* It's okay, I've accepted that we can't have nice things and WotC doesn't want my money anymore. Then again, I don't know who this guy is or how long he's been working at WotC, but is it possible that he's referring to the old Dominaria RPG that Pete Venters was working on in the 90s?

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be off getting some more work done on my Dominaria D&D campaign... :plot:

I got the impression that it was probably before the modern Plane Shift guides. I didn't know there was a planned Dominaria RPG in the 90's. I thought that might be new info.
Well, at any rate, seems like a promising lead for anybody who wants the inside scoop.

So people may notice I'm not posting here a lot. This is part due to my personal life (lawsuit against MTG Arena included), but also because I'm working on my sea plane while trying to get scientific papers out there.

Hopefully I'll be more engaged after 'm writing my Halloween trollfics.

I think collectively we've had a really bad run of it lately.
Real life hasn't been kind to most of us in the past few months

@TPmanW: Theft + endangering my life. Its complicated, sent WOTC's legal department a letter warning them but if they received it they haven't responded, so its lawyer search now.

@Barinellos: Each year just feels so lifeless, like everyone gave up. Some of us moved to greater things, I hope we as a whole can while not leaving this community to dust. I won't leave unless I get banned for some reason.

Tell me about it. My mom just got out of surgery weeks back, the removed mass is apparently cancerous (runs in her family: 1 older brother died, younger sis got one of her kidneys removed) and is gonna be back for radiation. Add to that there's a possibility of spinal nerve problems too. :/

Like, it feels so surreal at the moment... my personal Gods are what's keeping me sane at this point.

Bouncing around between various temp jobs has sort of put a damper on my availability of late.

I've been around, check this forum almost daily but the depth of discussion hasn't warranted comment of late.

Well, in general it's been quiet on the western front.

Nothing unusual given Eldraine only came out a tiny bit ago, so it isn't like there's much new material to cover either.

I'm surprised there's been so little discussion about The Gathering Storm. People used to post weekly links to Uncharted Realms to prompt discussion, but there's been nothing like that for Django Wexler's stories.

That's because they're locked behind a paywall.

What? WotC didn't do a great job explaining how to get them, but there's no paywall. The "official" way to get them is to sign up to a free mailing list, but you can also just share the URL's. I was able to open this in an incognito window, so it should work for anyone: https://us14.campaign-archive.com/home/ ... 89b8bb3375
