There was probably just a pack with 3 good black cards in it. Someone took a Gary or gorgon over the other two. Monster seems fine.

Well ladies and gentlemen, looks like green and black are closed, unless you think the courser is a decent 3 drop. I say we go white because it's been open the last 3 picks.

This is why prophet is a bad pick one. It dedicated us to two colors, one of which is hella closed. Then we picked night howler, which is a kinda meh card too. I dunno guys. The guy to our left is probably soaking up all the white we passed, so diving into it midpack seems horrible. I would pick the courser and aim to get some green in pack two. At least then we can play our 'bomb.'

There are two OK green cards in the pack, and we got a good blue one last pick. Asps and Satyrs just don't happen pick six.

This. There aren't any great picks here and the unicorn helps unlock better cards the next couple of packs.

I'd pass on white too. Next round our left will be all over them. But we should get some very good green passed to us.

The prophet was not a good first pick.

So play white/blue splashing green for Prophet. Seems fine to me. Won with worse.

I will always first pick a prophet, because the card is good enough to try and go 2 colors for. So what if we get cut off white in pack 2? We are pretty much sure to have our pick of either green or blue in that pack, and use the last pack to pad our numbers.

Either taking Courser, Hopeful, or Invocation seems good here. I keep getting disappointed by unicorns, even in the green ramp deck. If you don't care about being potentially cut from white pack 2 go eidolon. I myself would rather lock in green for pack 2.

Between Invocation and Courser, I pick the dude.

Edit: don't get why people thought getting night howler was good. I have only had one deck o was happy to have it in, out of 6 times drafting it.
