the most impressive sounding thing PK has done is probably convince the mafia team to out themselves

idk i never bring that up because it sounds like one of those chuck norris facts

Like it's so unrealistic it doesn't even sound like it's a good story

Except it is a good story. I saved a picture you posted to that game as well as took time to read it. It was extremely impressive much to the chagrin of the mafia (of which I do believe Fred was one of the level headed ones that tried to stop his teammate from outing them).

yeah i know what you mean any reasonable person is going to think "that sounds a lot more like the mafia being really bad than PK being impressive to any extent" but the mafia was only slightly below average at best and i'd like to see someone pull something like that off even with really bad mafia yk

To use the words of Turin once upon a time, I don't care what the peanut gallery says. As far as I can remember, PK claimed some kind of role that could essentially restart the game. Some kind of writer/editor or something. A big part of his lie, that convinced one person on the mafia team (mono?) was that he could remake ppl's roles as he saw fit. PK pretty much threatened to make said mafia player be mafia in the remake for sure, unless he came clean about his team and the mafia. In that case, he'd guarantee that player a spot as town for an assured victory.

There was a large argument to convince that player that PK couldn't possibly have such a role, but eventually one mafia player outed the entire mafia and, well, PK won the game.

That's the best I recall what happened. It was, honestly, quite a delight to see.

thats the gist of it i think, PK claimed to know that mono was scum (she didn't, but he was), and said that if mono didn't out his teammates, that PK would rewrite his role into something miserable for him, and after enough persuading, mono eventually sold out his friends.

I dunno, I think that's only about as good as that time I claimed cop variant Day 1 against my mafia don's wishes, and then the two of us got into such an incredible heated argument over my decision to do so both in the mafia qt but also the main thread. It was so heated and so antagonistic, that when I bussed the crap out of him Day 2 with my cop result to confirm my knowledge and lynched him, I had town pants for the rest of the game and won mafia victory solo as the last man standing.

All this without breaking my NLP once.

hah, the good ol' days.

Edit: Oh, and that mafia don in this story was PK. :V

Double edit:
This was an evaluation of how likely I was to be scum given by Tevish in the final moments.

Because you and PK and Razor kept switching accounts around so nobody would know who they were actually playing against to prevent meta-gaming?

because i tried to fill large boots and failed mostly, but it was also just emotionally confusing to some extent

also fwiw the only person who ever played on the faux razor account was PK and i only played as PK for that one game. It was mostly an experiment into how much of PK's power was a result of her reputation probably

Well that's definitely fantastic. I'm going to have to read through that.

How do you square NLP (which I'm assuming means no lying policy?) with claiming cop when you weren't?

Ninja edit: I should clarify that I'm not trying to call you out, I'm just mystified and confused.

Probably by saying he knows the role name of X and allowing peoples' imagination to do the rest.

That'd be my guess.

I'm reading the thread he linked now, he had an investigating ability as mafia.

Impressive!
