I imagine this could also be a one mana 1/1, at uncommon at least. There's no small creature with vigilance and deathtouch, is the point.

The tricky thing about vigilance and deathtouch is...
a) They only intersect in green, and that's secondary in both colors
b) In terms of flavor, they generally push the card in different directions.

I can see that being secondary makes it less obvious of a design but it's not like it is a bend or anything as long as it isn't granting the abilities to another creature.

Personally I have always hated that the flavor of vigilance tends to be "Good at blocking" generally with a big shield. In my opinion it should be more like "highly mobile", someone who can attack and then back with enough time to fight on both fronts.

Looking through green vigilance creatures they don't tend to have shields. Some of them look highly mobile but not all of them. I'm not really sure if the have any flavor.

surely the flavour of vigilance is 'the action or state of keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties'

The cost and stats don't matter, it's just flash + euthanizing we haven't seen yet.

Wielder of Suffering's Grace feels kind of clunky when you compare it to something that can flash in and grant something deathtouch.

I mean it does proc off noncombat damage, but in my very... limited experience of limited that doesn't come up very often, so I think you make a sound point.
