I did not know about that card! Shame on me for not recognizing Q in the flesh!

Still tho, there's a huge difference between and . The idea was sparked by a comment that remarked about how it's curious that most of the monocolor-casting-cost Commanders who are used for 5-color decks because of their text boxes are White, seeing as how Green is the color most well-poised to be utilized as the central color in a 5-color deck. (So far we've got Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, General Tazri, and now Kenrith, the Returned King, with Najeela, the Blade-Blossom being the only one in any other color.)

Plus, you know, Llanowar Elves into this into Channel the Suns for Emrakul

Yeah, that is an interesting point. Five-color decks tend to lean on green for manafixing anyway, so a mono-green 5C legend makes a lot of sense.

I love this card, but as has already been discussed, it has its problems.

What is it trying, essentially, to accomplish? For that matter, is a big ole sorcery really the best way to go about it?

My take on the general feel of it:


This card should be conceptualized, basically, as an enchantment, with "" replaced with "At the beginning of your upkeep," (there are differences obviously but i'm just saying, that's how i balanced it)

That is to say, the ultimate is mostly just there for flavor as much as anything, but mainly to entice Timmies who think the game will actually go that long.

Why isn't the ultimate shuffling the library? It saves time, but it's a rules nightmare. The rule is actually that you can't rearrange the cards in your library while you're searching (see Panglacial Wurm), so people could get judges called on them for moving cards around while searching.

Rearranging never matters because you have to shuffle your library afterward, but if we introduce effects like this, things will explode.

Oh, I just thought it was cute to like, haha THIS tutor is such a baller effect that it DOESN'T EVEN SHUFFLE how dope is THAT yo. like not only do you TUTOR you also KNOW WHAT ORDER YOUR LIBRARY IS IN. idk i just thought that since the emblem makes the order of your library largely not matter anyway outside of the first ability, which, if anything, i'd rather it not interact with, it'd be cool to have it not shuffle. but if it's a rules nightmare then it's not important, that's fine.

While I agree that card will be too slow to resolve with the re-ordering, Scry All is one of the most Mythic lines of rules text I have ever seen.
