Forget Q, let's get more one-mana cantrips to bring Blistercoil Weird combo to Standard!

I expect them to print ally color gods in BotG, then enemy color gods in JiN

I just hope they have the rest of the scry lands in Born of the Gods, rather than us having to wait for Journey to Nyx. I'm also kinda hoping for some interesting planeswalkers in the next couple sets, possibly new versions of older ones besides Ajani (who is featured in art and pretty much already guaranteed for either BotG or JiN), such as if they come out with a moon-based god/goddess, having Tamiyo there studying the magic of such, or Garruk turning up having gotten partially cured more of the Veil Curse by Avacyn and been re-directed by her to Sorin, who re-directed Garruk to Theros to get his cure finished there by praying for help from the gods, likely in exchange for some kind of quest to defeat a monstrous creature.

Then again, Tamiyo is probably a no, because I'm suspecting the next block after Theros will be a return to Kamigawa, since I think we're waiting on Liliana destroying the demon there she made a deal with, which may be the last one if I recall correctly, and Bolas still probably wants his revenge on people there, and is likely still in a bad mood with various plans getting foiled, and they seem to have gotten into a theme of returning to older planes, what with what they've done with Ravnica and Mirrodin. And of course if we're headed to Kamigawa, Tamiyo is pretty much a guarantee since it's her native plane.

If WOTC ever returns to Kamigawa, I'll put hexproof on every card I design for a month.

Well, since it seems all the other Theros planeswalkers are getting follower cards in Born of the Gods, I'm going to guess Elspeth has one too. Maybe with a mechanic related to destroying large creatures?

I could actually see that happening.

I can see that happening, maybe an intrepid hero reprint?

fits into a "hero" them or mayeb they'd give us a heroic effect that destroys a creature with power> 4 if targeted

My guess would be an inspired Intrepid Hero.

Both "follower cards" were Uncommons, though, and I don't think an Intrepid Hero variant would be anything but a Rare. Maybe as an EtB effect like Big Game Hunter and I could see it.

Egyptian themed set <(._.<)

Though its more of a prediction and less speculation.

Well, no Elspeth follower card in BotG, but there is still a chance in Journey to Nyx, as well as a chance for an Ajani one if Ajani has a card in that set like the promotional art seems to indicate. I'm speculating it will be a Green/White Ajani, to fill in that planeswalker color combo and have Ajani cover all of the Naya colors, since Naya is his homeland and we still need a Green/White Planeswalker.

Due to the release announcement page I half-recall, I'm predicting we'll get a new version of Garruk in M15.

I'm also predicting that due to Return to Ravnica being on it's way to rotating out, we'll have some multi-color-lands in M15 so they don't have to have them in the next theme set for when the Theros Scry-lands shift out, and also because of it having been a while since M12's dual-lands. This is a more tentative prediction, but I'm going to predict they'll be new ones, which feature color wedges (a color and it's two opposing colors) designed similar to the shard-lands (like Seaside Citadel or Bant Panorama only wedges rather than shards).

I also predict M15 will avoid any cards with X in their cost only blue or green and colorless, due to Wizards possibly having missed during playtesting the Kiora's Follower/Illusionist's Bracers combo, and wanting to limit it's impact on Standard.

I also predict M15 will try to have a cycle of 'cheap' low mana cost variants of iconic monster tribal creatures of each color, possibly with some kind of drawback or growth element or something to allow them to still be 'big' creatures, a Sphinx, Angel, Demon, Dragon, and perhaps something normally big that is green, not sure what there, maybe a Treefolk.

I also predict a low mana cost blue creature with hexproof/shroud, since it's generally an ability shared between blue and green, and green got it's turn last time with that elf and witchstalker, and they want to keep bant enchantments a thing while Theros is in rotation.

I also predict they'll go for a cycle of 'off color' creatures from tribes normally found in other colors.

I also predict a cycle of 'exotic' tribal creatures from that are rare in other sets or only found in them, with some re-prints and some new ones, possibly including Kithkin, Soratami/Moonfolk, Duathi, Viashino, and maybe Centaurs.

I also predict a Birds of Paradise reprint with new art, as the art I think used in previous 'M' sets was originally from the original Ravnica: City of Guilds, and we just recently had a Return to Ravnica and it wasn't reprinted there.

Slivers were the returning mechanic for M14, just like exalted for M13 and bloodthirst for M12. It's unlikely we'll see them again in M15.

I doubt they're scared of a 3 card combo that loses to sorcery-speed removal. I mean, if nobody has made a good showing at a GP with Sphinx's Revelation and volcanic geyser in the format, I don't think it's a real danger.

I bet they go away from top down design in the next set. Artifacts again?

MaRo practically confirmed that months ago actually.
