I still kinda wish Settle Beyond Reality was worded as "Exile two target creatures, then return one of them to the battlefield under its owner's control."

Ritual of sickness is op (probably fair at XBB) and few sets have those kind of counters, though we did get Incrememtal Blight. Blackmoor curse isn’t in black’s color pie yet

I don't really get the OP of Ritual of Sickness. I think XBB would mean it would never get played. X = 2 is only 2 -1/-1 counters for 4 mana. Dead Weight does pretty much the same thing at one black. I get that spreading it out for multiple targets makes it that much better, but there would be many times a flat out Murder would be highly preferable to Ritual. Incremental Blight is much stronger at the 5 mana mark than Ritual would be.

X spells you pay for flexibility. Being able to spend 2 mana to kill a dude, or plague wind later in the game. Unlike blight you don’t need three targets, and you could hit one bigger guy or a bunch of smaller guys. It can’t go to the face like Rolling Thunder, but it leaves its targets permanently smaller by using counters instead of just damage that lasts till end of turn

Search your library for a white enchantment card and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
Mangara often dwelt on that day, wondering if there was anything he could have done to prevent the need for Asmira's sacrifice.

Erm, so I recall there was some talk about the possibility of black getting enchantment removal in some form or another in the future but I don't think we ever really got anything released for that, right?
