Looking at multicolored uncommons we've seen so far, I think we might also have...
UB Ninjas
GW tokens?
WB Changelings (aka draft all the tribal cards)
UR card draw matters?

So according to the Chandras, M20 has 280 cards (plus whichever cards come after that count). That may not sound like a big deal, as M19 had the same number of cards. 10 of those cards were the common Cinder Barrens lands. However, one of them was Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. I guess that means we're getting another DFC in M20, unless the Chandras lie to us.

With all the new Snow stuff we just got in Modern Horizons, I wonder if at least one of this year's Commander decks (or maybe next year's) will have a Snow theme. Having some synergy between products is a good idea from a marketing perspective, and they've done similar things before, like releasing four tribal decks right before Ixalan. Maybe it's just me being greedy and wanting even more new Snow cards, but I feel like there would be an audience for that.

My dream scenario would be getting the Doom of Fools as a :u::b: maybe and :r: commander with a snow theme or subtheme. Dead of Winter happened!

Also, some people do point towards the Commander releases having strong ties to recent and upcoming products. Note that the tribal decks released in 2017 were Cats (Supported in Amonkhet, just before), Vampires (With white; Supported in Ixalan just after) Wizards (Supported in Dominaria), and Dragons (Supported in M19). Essentially, the C17 decks tapped into a year of stuff immediately around their release.

My thoughts exactly. I think I'd slightly prefer Grixis Szat over Dimir Szat, but both would be amazing. And yeah, Modern Horizons has a lot of cool stuff, but that card is probably still my favourite. I bought six copies of it the other day, and I already regret I didn't buy more... You'd better believe I'm going to hiss "At lasssst, ssssilence!" at my opponents in my best creepy Oldwalker voice each time I play this. :V

A new version of Freyalise - of course with her classical Ice Age look from the comics - might also make for a neat Snow deck, perhaps even in . Ramaz is another planeswalker character they'd probably consider for this (might even fit for Snow + elemental tribal), but to be honest, I like the Snow mechanic best when it's somehow connected to the actual Ice Age. If we ever get a new Snow set, I really hope it'll be set in Dominaria's Northland rather than its own plane, but it's not very likely...

I'm on board with a new Freyalise, but no to the classic look. That is a ridiculously ugly hat.

With the 2AAA costed cavalier cycle and a cycle of AAA legends, just what is WOTC trying to push? Is it just an incentive to pry people away from multicolor in the wake of a Ravnica block? Any chance it's a plant for a mono-color heavy set in the future?

Flood of Tears uses the wording "if you return 4 or more nontoken permanents..." to refer to the things it bounces. Is this new terminology? I was surprised to not see it spelled out the long way.

I guess colored artifacts aren't something they save for special occasions any more. Good sign Phyrexia's not in the next block.

Embodiment Of Agonies looks fun for brewing with. Good in commander, but is there room for this in a toolbox deck?
Repeated Reverberation looks to have fun applications.
I like the look of Scheming symmetry. Like, the actual look of it. More symbolic art is always welcome in my MTG.

Am I the only one who thinks tutored PWs suck? Especially because I feel like it's just a way to make a second terrible version (and thus reinforce the flavor presence) of a walker which already has a card that could end up being playable. The tutors are underwhelming, the tutored PWs lackluster...

Also, I hope that they'll toy more around PW static abilities, and ability sets that are not +something/-something/win the game.

You are not the only one, but that is a feature meant to keep people like you and me from buying that particular product.

It is an odd commercial arrangement, certainly.

Is it just me or am I seeing Kasmina in the art for Throne of Eldraine?

From the M:Files article talking about Woodland Champion
Quote:
DSJ: Does this lead to anything undesirable if it just references tokens in general? I think it would be pretty cute if Treasure tokens and the like trigger this card.

YS: Now any token, yay Treasure and [redacted].

So it sounds like we have a new kind of non-creature token in the near future.

Some more info: https://www.hipstersofthecoast.com/2019/09/magics-2020-sets-revealed-theros-beyond-death-ikoria-lair-of-behemoths-core-set-2021-and-zendikar-rising/
Quote:
During today’s kickoff stream for Throne of Eldraine’s preview season, Wizards of the Coast revealed all four of Magic: the Gathering’s upcoming Standard-legal sets in 2020—Theros: Beyond Death, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, Core Set 2021, and Zendikar Rising.

Theros Beyond Death—Winter 2020

Theros: Beyond Death will be Magic’s next set following Throne of Eldraine and will be released in the Winter of 2020. We will return to Theros, a world of gods, heroes and monsters, and we’ll finally get to see Theros’s underworld—where the Planeswalker Elspeth Tirel has resided since the end of the original Theros story.

Ikoria Lair of Behemoths—Spring 2020

After returning to Theros, we’ll visit the brand-new plane of Ikoria in the Ikoria Lair of Behemoths set in the Spring of 2020., Ikoria is monster-centric plane that will allow you to play and make monsters. Making monsters is “one of the craziest mechanics we’ve made in quite a while,” said Mark Rosewater, Magic’s Head Designer.

Core Set 2021—Summer 2020

The Summer will bring Core Set 2021, which will apparently focus on Teferi. “Do you like Teferi?,” asked Cynthia Sheppard, Senior Art Director at Wizards of the Coast. “If you like Teferi, you will not be disappointed in this set.”

Zendikar Rising—Fall 2020

The Fall of 2020 will bring another fan-favorite plane with Zendikar Rising. Players will return to a Zendikar where the Eldrazi are finally gone, “If you enjoyed original Zendikar, the adventure world Zendikar, we’re going back!” Rosewater said.
