The Temples were the most-played land cycle last time they were legal (Theros block).
They're competing for slots with the checklands in 3-colour-decks, but Orzhov/Simic/Izzet (whichever is a thing) will have no issues running 12 dual lands.

Would you spend 40 RWC on those lands?

It'd only be 20 for the lot as we're just getting five of them this time around. I doubt we're getting another cycle of enemy-pair lands for at least a few sets, so they'll be more or less necessary for decks of those colors post rotation anyway.

They are far away from what I expect from a rare dual land... maybe I need to get the feel of the Scry 1 ...

A 7/6 creature for 3 cmc puts Tarmogoyf to shame. Sure you end up discarding, but if you're a low-to-the ground aggro deck you could easily empty your hand and then bash the opponent. Besides who cares if you're hellbent if the opponent is taking 7 every turn? Interesting card, if it doesn't work out I suspect it's because it's got no keywords so stuff like Esper hero's tokens can just chump it.

New Sorin looks quite strong given the lenient mana costs and the fact that you can ultimate immediately. How strong are the biggest vampires in Standard (or Modern for that matter)?

Marauding Raptor also looks very strong. 2/3 for 2 with a relevant passive, not to mention a relevant trigger if paired with all the enrage dinosaurs from Ixalan.

For the lands we'll have to see, coming into play tapped is a huge deal of course especially in tempo oriented formats where having to attack WAR planeswalkers is a real issue, I'm not hopeful but idk.

This looks like a strong common for limited. You've prob traded some creatures by the time you can cast her, and will be getting 5 power over 2 bodies for 5cmc with the occasional bonus of disrupting graveyard synergies. Seems pretty dece for a common
