The drafting archetypes are:

White-Blue + Red: Flying
Blue-Black + Green: Enters the Battlefield Control
Black-Red + White: Aggro
Red-Green + Blue: Elementals
Green-White + Black: Go Wide

The idea being that it sets up much more flexible drafting strategies.

: Goblin Birdgripper gains flying until end of turn. Only activate this ability when you control a creature with flying.

Creature - Human Cleric
Whenever an Angel enters the battlefield under your control, gain 4 life.
Whenever an Angel you control dies, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying.








3, T: ~ deals 1 damage to any target.
When ~ is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, it deals 5 damage to any target.


When Loaming Shaman enters the battlefield, target player shuffles any number of target cards from their graveyard into their library.

Holy moly, these reprints. Leylines are very potent SB cards, specifically Leyline of Sanctity which protects against burn and hand attack.
Some other highlights: Disfigure, Goblin Ringleader, Planar Cleansing among others.

Planar Cleansing sounds quite interesting to me... the laylines sounds like powefull SB cards ... Tomorrow is the NGA exlusive spoiler

Supposed Tarmogoyf reprint has been making the rounds on Reddit, no confirmation on if it's legit though. I'm leaning towards fake, but it sure would be fun to use in the non-rotating format once we get there.

Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer
Legendary Planeswalker - Yanling
[+2]: Until your next turn, up to one target creature gets -2/-0 and loses flying.
[-3]: Create a 4/4 blue Elemental Bird creature token with flying.
[-8]: You get an emblem with "Islands you control have 'T: Draw a card.'"

Not sure how I feel about Protection returning, it always just seems to be a headache for a lot of people. Apparently Play Design was the impetus for its return though - if anyone deserves at least a short leash to fiddle with it, it's probably them given their solid track record with Standard recently.

Creature - Elemental Knight
Vigilance
When ~ enters the battlefield, destroy (up to?) one target nonland permanent. Its controller creates a 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature token.
When ~ dies, return target artifact or enchantment card from your graveyard to your hand.


2: ~ gets +3/+3 and gains Deathtouch until end of turn.
At the beginning of your end step, if any player lost 4 or more life this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on ~


Artifact Creature - Scarecrow (Uncommon)
T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
T: Target creature becomes the color or colors of your choice until end of turn.

Choose one
Create two 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature tokens
Choose a target artifact that you control. Every other artifact you control becomes a copy of that artifact at the end of turn

It’s sorcery and its not repeatable -on the same turn- but still sounds like quite the interesting card to me, probably Orzhov crats have a shot now.
Marauding raptor looks busted also I never liked Dinos but that thing + Elves are quite some ramp
The 1 cmc black drop looks abusable, it can feed it self on the late game to begging with.
Legions End is just frigging amazing to me

Idk if it’s playable with elves. Once in play it’s killing all the elves you cast after - dead in hand while it’s on board. With enrage in Dino tribal tho

Oof oowie, my wildcards. I'd been stockpiling for the Fall set and the fast/cycle lands should Kaladesh through Hour return for Arena Modern, but didn't really account for a third rare land cycle this year. At least M20's rares are looking quite a bit better than M19's garbage haul.

I find those lands awful!! the scry 1 is nice but ... a rare WC on that crap... I dont think so
