I wonder if we'll snag a few refugees from the fallout. We could use an influx of new members as well.

Wish I could say I was sad about it. I never felt great about it, but my opinion went downhill drastically when Sarkhan Unbroken was spoiled and everyone in the thread argued with me endlessly that my opponents were going to Aetherize my Dragonlord Dromoka.

From what I've gathered, it's Curse who's shutting MTGS down, and the mods can't do anything about it since it's built on Curse's proprietary software. They are, however, planning to create a new forum for people to migrate to.

Curse was a mistake.
I severed ties and dropped out of the mods there when curse moved in.

You might even say Curse was... a curse.

In all seriousness, I've tangentially interacted with that company before and it seemed like everything they touched was creeping cancer. It took me HOURS to get a download manger client from them that wasn't working off my wife's computer. I had to system restore in the end.

Indeed, now is the time to reach out to our fellow starndlings. They need us. We need them. If you have MTGS connections, now's the time to forge a connection on NGA.
