Any works to be voted on should be listed in this thread (unless you are a voting M:EMber, in which case you should simply start the voting thread yourself).

Information needed when submitting a request:

• What kind of work it is.
  
• The name of the author or authors.
  
• What its status will be if accepted (i.e. open, public, private)
  
• A link to the work, or a copy if it’s short enough.

Criteria to be included is subject to change at the Speaker or Archivist’s discretion.

I'll take it there. I saw the instructions in the OP and thought it had to go through a pre-vote before I made a thread.

The thing is, it doesn't need a voting thread until it's been reviewed and worked on. That's why we have WiP threads open to discussion. Voting threads are basically just for voting, not for more intense reviews, which is just part of the process before they go up for vote.

I'd like to initiate a vote on Adrisar, by me. It would be public.

As a M:EMber, I believe you can just do that, although that may have changed for all I know. Incidentally, are you going to put up the stories associated with Adrisar, as well?

I was thinking of doing so in the following week, assuming Adrisar passed. a PWG is a lot of text to ask people to go through. You might argue that a few stories is only marginally more, but I think it might be easier to turn out the vote for the stories if there's not also that massive block up at the same time.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've been trying to decide when to put up the Denner Fabellian stories, but I don't want to overload people, especially around the holidays when people tend to be busier. I'll probably hold off a couple of weeks, then.

Any voting M:EMber can place a work/plane/what have you up for vote. I've also been operating under the assumption that the posting of voting threads does not need to be on Mondays, but that the "voting time" is from the coming Monday to the following one. I did take a glance at the rules again and, as it's phrased, it seems that this isn't what we're actually working under. I'd still say that any voting thread put up after a Monday can just sit there to be read until the "official" week has passed.

Lord knows we could all use more time to read voting works...

I'll set up a voting thread for that, then. As a future note, however, it would be nice to post a request a day or two before the voting week starts so that I don't accidentally miss it like I did this time (another M:EMber brought this request to my attention).

Hmm... is it not in the rules? I should go check on that; we've changed a few minor details that may not have been made public knowledge. I apologize if it hasn't been made clear, voting weeks currently start each Sunday, though they change as my schedule does ("my" being the person currently typing this, who is virtually the only user of this account [it's a shared account]).
