Bolas has lured the walkers to ravnica and trapped them there using the immortal sun. He wants to use their sparks to cast a spell called the elder spell. There will be a card called The Elder Spell in the set

This seems like a cycle. Chandra and Jace are almost certainly going to follow suit; not sure whether Nissa or Vivien is the green one.

If it's a cycle, I'm betting Nissa gets the green one to mirror the defeat cycle from Hour of Devastation.

But it could also just be a mirrored pair, especially considering how Gideon and Liliana teamed up on Dominaria, and both cards have a sacrifice effect.

Mono blue uncommon Tamiyo and WU rare Narset would make most sense, but we already have Teferi as WU rare

Yeah, there's a weirdly high number of white-blue planeswalkers in this set. I could see either Dovin or Narset in the uncommon slot, but then do we just have two white-blue planeswalkers at rare? I think MaRo said that Bolas is the only 3-color planeswalker in the set, so that rules out Jeskai Narset.

I mean, the rares don't follow a strict cycle, so who knows, but it does seem weird to give one color pair so many planeswalkers, especially when it already has the best one in standard.

So no Bant Tamiyo either. Yeah I just assumed the wu hybrid would be dovin but it could be narset.

There is no GU gold planeswalker either in standard or in the new spoilers. If one of the other two went to mono blue then Simic Tamiyo could make sense

Yes, because too many cards are "storyboard" cards, they didn't bother with spotlights.

They actually do have spotlights, but there's a bunch, and they don't use the watermark. They also label what act they're from.
