Nived me hard on game one.
This is my beautiful land destruction hand as Niv tore me another. Mana pooled me hard on an Explosion before this.



Game two I pounced hard with my Simic Ramp, I call, They Like Fast Ramps (bonus to anyone who gets the reference).
Can you not keep an opening mull hand like this?

Esper Hero (me) VS Orzhov Midrange (Devil)
This was a fun game -as always with Devil who brings off meta decks always and makes this way more fun- I had 2 thought erasure on hand but got greedy trying to resolve 2 hero and ride the value from there... Devil killed both of my Heroes and then killed just about anything touched the board... he got shy on removal just when I resolved a Thief... 4 turns later the advantage was overwhelming.
G2 we decided to play Singleton
Mono red aggro (me) VS Golgari good stuff
I started fast but on T6 devil dropped a Tyrant followed by Pelakka... I used all my top decking skills and somehow managed to push a couple points of damage and ping for lethal with Banefire.
I had no business winning that game but... lucky was my friend that evening.

Yes, one thing you can always look for from me are slightly off-meta decks.
Don't mean I can't whip your ass with them though.

great games overall

Game 1 simic merfolk vs rakdos goblins cucho ended up flooding out so I took the match with kumena and a wide board buffing him.
Game 2 azorius airbeats vs temur reclamation got cucho down to 4 life but niv-mizzet turned the tide he played around my settle and wore me down
Game 3 mono blue tempo vs boros aggro we traded well throughout the game and I got my counters on time. I barely got lethal with pteramander and djinn very close aggro match

I was trying to not die by holding Niv... you had lethal on the backlash if I attacked, I was not really playing around Settle

Stole the throne to Binderato (just for few minutes).

Game 1 temur Wild Storm against selesnya tokens. I had the super fast hand on the play, turn 2 Spiral, turn 3 Reclamation (destroyed), turn 4 Reclamation (exiled), turn 5 Reclamation, turn 6 Thousand Year Storm, turn 7 went off. 1-0

Game 2 rakdos demons against jeskai control. Nothing much to do here against a turn 5 Teferi into other good spells, demons in mtg are not so scary. 1-1

Game 3 rakdos punisher burn against izzet drakes. This one was fast because of an insane amount of bolts, i believe at least 5. 2-1

Great games giocher the explosive starts really took me by surprise game 3 it was over before I could stabilize great decks that thousand year storm really caught me game 1 was painful game 1 as well. GGs and well played. Look forward to more king of the hill matches.

then I resolved my second reclamation and Giocher decided that he had seen enough 1-0

I took Giocher Dimir Fake news into a the slaughter house... vs Rakdos diplomatic burn
he burned my ass to the ground.. 1-1

he took his Fake news against my WW
this was very close but Ww managed to ping for exacties just before Giocher could stabilize 2-1

I've lost track, but cucho seems to be top-king and wacky0 the top-kingslayer having reached 1 kill first and cucho doesn't count.
Play the season finale match and the winner will be the season 4 king.

I tried to knock Cucho to maybe Duke of Something and not King and my coup did not compleat.

Game one:
My Dimir vs Rakdos
I get the jump on with Eraser and know it's safe for Thief... had two Angrath in hand and Arulia. Thief gets a hit in and low and behold... a third Angrath which I can play after the hit. Talk about a nice discard package included in a nice discard deck. I have Hostage ready for Arulia. Soon as I take her, game over.

Game two: RDW against mono white
I put up one hell of a fight and then Shalai comes down, shutting the face off. I had hit hard with a Unbreakable attack and Marshal out... could have sown up the game. Cucho plays LOTS... pulls a Shock and Strike. Shalai goes down and he has a Lavarunner in hand to haste out and do me one over my blockers which would have killed his creatures at block.

Game three: Goblins against my Dimir again.
Long story short. I couldn't draw into any of my sweepers nor single kills. Got a Doom out way too late for the Goblin haste attack.

G1: Mardu Hero (me) VS Fake News
Devil, thought erasure me... I stumble on mana... next thing I remember he got one Thief, cast my Angrath and stole my Aurelia.... OUCH!
G2 RDW vs White Weenies
I make a dent on Devils life total, but he then stabilizes the board with Marshal and Shalai after he attacks for 15 with Unbreakable... I somehow cast Frenzy and draw exactly every spell I needed in the right order.

G3 Fake News Vs Rakdos Goblins
the goblins swarm the board at full speed, while Devil´s Doom whisperer watches in horror

Ah Spring has a sprung already so I tried to deseat King Cucho.
I was not successful.... yet.

First game, my Orzhov against a very nice proliferation deck. Took me four turns to get three mana and that's where I sat. I had a lone Knight of Malice on the field. I took the punishment.

Second game, my Azor LD against Gruul (Cucho's Sarkhan deck that can be found in the Constructed subforum). I'm pacing very well and getting all my land drops. New Teferi comes out and eats a death of damage after a few turns, I Tribunal something good, Nova something else, counter the next thing and as I'm holding another Nova and Thran, Cucho pulls my possible bane... Rekindling Phoenix. Nova does me no good... damn
I take punishment and then

I draw Bindings!
He Bolts his Phoenix as I try and Bind it.
Brilliant as I tapped too much to pay 5 for Nova also.
Just for fun I put the Cleric on the board and toss Thran, pulling off the combo at 4 life... while Cucho holds 6 in creature damage.

I was a thing of beauty as I died.
