It say in the description of insomniac that he gets told what role he received (in case it changed).

For some reason I kept reading that at an ability that went last. As in, at the end, whoever held the role would be PMed to be told they are not an insomniac due to a change.

But yes, I see it now.

So Neo would know he is the seer, and JD would've had to been seer. That clears that part up with Neo and by extension JD. Given that Troublemaker resolves fourth, and JD would be insomniac, wouldn't he be informed of a role change (to insomniac)?

Course I suppose that hardly matters in the grand scheme. It plays out that JD claims seer (don't know who he targeted unless it was Dusky given his comment about me and asking about Neo's role), nothing from a Robber (plus Dusky claimed targeting no one as the Robber), then my ability switches Neo and JD (to which Neo claims to now be the seer after being the insomniac).

So the odd one out is Dusky. If JD seer'ed Dusky and got wolf, then that's that.

The only player to get notified of a role change is a player who started the night as Insomniac.

Terisian law dictates that I not ever vote for Dusky though so...

Are we in Terisia though?

CLEARLY Jay and Neo must both be wolves, claiming roles that confirm each other, and being lucky KoD happened to switch them.

Sooo... I am really sorry if this isn't super fun, but I don't think there's anything worthwhile fake-claiming. I mean, the three roles you got confirm each other perfectly. Seer saw wolf, Neo confirms seer and switcher, KoD confirms switching...I played through other possibilities but nothing makes sense unless we assume two insane players and an unreasonable amount of luck. Even if Neo was a second wolf (also theoretically possible), you'd still simply win by lynching me.

I would have used Neo's claim and KoD's absence to pre-empitively claimed troublemaker. Not that it would have helped with getting seered but yeah. Seer was a bit OP for the size of the game.

I considered that, but you had already said you had solved it and that meant you must have seen my role (because if you had seen his instead, we could have had 1 or 0 wolves).

You make the game enjoyable Dusky. You're like a breath of fresh air in a game where I know I will rub Neo the wrong way and always be readable to JD.
