I thought it might be fun to pry into mundane or irrelevant moments our walkers have. As an example, I'll lead with this Question:

"Syl, Chardis, What is your ideal breakfast in the morning?"

Chardis: "Bacon. Sausage. Ham. Served hot and charred almost to a crisp. Preferably, served with the tusk of the boar it came from, which I can use as a table knife..."

Syl: "Oh, you are a bore, dear brother. Breakfast is the meal of the mind, and if you want ideas to flow freely, your breakfast must flow, as well. Juices are paramount, as are watery fruits and melons. I used to have them delivered to me fresh daily from Galanos, often with a choice selection of fish to accompany them."

Chardis: "Oh, and the life essence of some upstart young planeswalker. That always makes a nice breakfast."

Syl: "Please, be serious, dear brother. That is more of an evening snack."

Chardis: "Of course, dear sister. Of course."

Okay, this one is for Szat and Amah:
"are you fond of bookmarks, or are you more a page number kinda gal?"

Also, everyone should feel free to contribute stupidity to the thread.

Hey, Ilyta? How do you run your classes? Are you a straight-up lecturer, or are you more into the Socratic method of discussion-based learning? Are you a "mid-term and final" only kind of instructor, or do you prefer frequent smaller quizzes, or maybe papers covering historic concepts? Do you give bonus points?

It's funny, I actually have something that would kinda answer the question in drafts, but it's nowhere near complete or polished...

Ilyta: "First off, if you have any questions, I'll ask you to come back during office hours. Oh, who am I kidding, I haven't even been in my office for two weeks. The first class session, I always hand out the syllabus with the course outline and required reading. Lectures are three hour periods every week... or at least they're supposed to be. I'm not always there for it. Er... well, most of them at least. Nevertheless, my aides handle any coursework I'm not present for, albeit they aren't cleared for lectures, but then again, that's what the required reading is for.

As to the papers, there's one due in midyear and one due at course's end, on top of the practical examination."

I'm honestly a little embarrassed to admit that I legitimately forgot for a few days that Vena was my character.

"I'm in the middle of a lurid story about a kithkin leatherworker and the human soldier that walked into her life.
....don't judge me."

"I prefer bookmarks for primary reading. The ones with the sewn-in cloth bookmarks are the best, especially when there are a couple of them for different pages you want to cross-reference! I should enchant a nice bookmark for the tomes that don't have them, since a lot of manuscripts aren't generous enough to give numbers either, and I'm sure there are a couple good spells that could be woven into that..."

This one is for Kahr

Do you think you'll ever settle down? What kind of partner would make you consider it?

Kahr sighed heavily. "Some day, as Pharaoh, I shall be expected to produce an heir. Even as a god-king, there are sacrifices to be made. I am sure that whomever my heir's mother will be shall be...suitable. But my consort?" Kahr's eyes twinkled. "He shall be strong and sweet, with dark hair, soft eyes, and a quick tongue." Kahr paused, considering. "I like my men...witty."

What are the people of Utah called? Utanians? Utites? Is it just Utes? It would probably be easy to look up, but I feel there is value in the asking. These things should be known widely.

To any M:EM character:

You're in the mood for a midnight snack. What's your go-to?

Zhiran: Well, a large soothing cup of tea would be most appropriate.
Antony: I've the finest smoked cheddar from Harvendale in my icebox. And... little else, unfortunately. I think there are crackers in the cupboard.
Shifter: The misery of others, but it's such a bother to get late at night.
Duchess: ...
Maral: I might have just a wee hunk of sweetcakes with those yellow spiney fruit. What do ye' call em? Right, pineapples!
Rishima: I demand a side of roast lamb brought to me. Immediately!
Raef: A mug of cinnamon oatmeal.
Aamir: Candied almonds and spiced fruit.
Cara: Bliny cakes, mostly because I keep them on hand to deal with restless ghosts.
Saigo: A cup of tea and mochi cakes, though it's hard to come by either.
Ilyta: Just a glass of milk, maybe with a dollop of honey in it, but I really shouldn't stay up too much later. Just after I finish researching this passage, I'm off to bed. Though maybe I should double check my lecture notes, since there's class tomorrow...
Aerik: 2 large mugs of hot coacoa. I just never figured out how to make enough for only one person...
Alessa: Just a taste of you would do the trick. <3

You're in the mood for a midnight snack. What's your go-to?

Elphimas: I am partial to soft vanilla and lemon-flavored cakes, or anything with blueberry jam in it. However, I might go for chocolate if I had a stressful day.
Sharaka: Dried meat is the lazy, safe choice, though I don't mind a quick midnight hunt once in a while if I have the time for it. *looks up* Alessa's idea is good too, especially if you [censored] a lot, [censored] or enjoy [censored].
Kalit: Gin.
Jack: Whatever it's in my rations bag. Off-duty, jam and cheese; there are so many kinds of both, the combinations are endless.
Ungar: I'll just suck on a few hard candies as I work. They don't like the concept of "pauses".
Amaruo: Nuts, candied fruit and tawny port - everything of the highest quality, of course. *lazy smile* I might even be willing to share, with the right company...
Fayn: During dives my menu is probably similar to Jack's. When rooting, I'll make up for it devouring anything with lots of sugar or fat in it! :D Rare, juicy steaks are also a favorite... "That's not a snack"? *puts hand on your shoulder* Man. My dude. Brother. I don't snack, I feast: nothing chases away bad memories like going to bed chock-full of food!

Raven, I'd be interested in your answers to your own question :V

Also, new prompt:
What if our characters met their perfect clone, identical in both appearance and personality? Let's consider the perspective of the one with the advantage, like the first spotting the other in a crowded street or watching the other stir on an arcanomedical slab...
