I didn't know spore was on steam. I hope they remake it someday like it was originally supposed to be.

Darn it! I just got FFVII a few weeks ago, and still haven't really played it, due to my getting FFVIII a few days later...

Considering how maxis has sequels for almost every game they make it's perfectly possible. And the community is pretty large. People still make amazing things with the editors, which are the only reason to really play. but then again they could just pump out sims and sim cities forever and be rich.

They tried to use the editor again with Darkspore and didn't have much success there either, so I have doubts that the Spore engine will be used in the near future. Besides, Spore is rotten down to the integrity, it would need a big overhaul to not just be a mess of various gametypes. Working with the awful reputation it has, I doubt they are willing to risk it.

I rather liked Darkspore, actually.

What rotten reputation? All I've ever met were people that liked it. And I did say "redo" it.

So I got a 2pack if divekick when it was on sale and gave it to a friend. It's probably the best fighting game I have ever played. The comedy and depth of play is amazing.

I ended up picking up Sleeping Dogs. I have a weakness for open world games.

After playing and getting addicted to the E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy demo, I quickly purchased it when it went on sale. Best game purchase I have had in a long while or maybe even ever at the price I paid for. I'm still bummed out that it didn't win to be 90% off in the Community Choice poll.

I would say it's not for everyone though; it seems to be a love-hate type of game. However if you like Deus Ex, Warhammer 40K, or in general absurd and surreal dystopian/cyberpunk atmosphere then I highly recommend buying it or at least to try out the demo. It is an indie game that definitely requires more polish, but strangely enough its many faults add to its charm.
