I agree with Mjack, gonna wait till they stop making ps3 games I like before I move to ps4, or maybe that new Steambox thingy.

I will say though...the only games I play on ps3 to be honest are dotp, ff14 and whatever telltale games is making at the time. (wolf among us)

Here's hoping for Sam and Max season 4.

I dont think they've been talking about arcade releases much. We might see a Dotp 2015 on next gen come march. The small digital/arcade games arent exactly a big selling point, so they're mostly unmentioned.

I picked up an Xbox One on release day and have Dead Rising 3, NFS Rivals, Battlefied 4 and FIFA 14. I can say that I've not had a single hardware or network problem, and I dont regret the purchase in the slightest. And the kinect is unplugged and will stay that way until I see a need for it (unlikely). And while I cant speak for the PSN, XBL lets you be connected to the same account and playing on a 360 and an Xbox One simultaneously. So I tend to leave magic running on my 360, and switch between them as I feel inclined.

I'm getting a PS4 but I'm keeping my PS3, it's 1TB hard drive, the 50+ disc-based games I have, plus the 100+ downloadable games available to me (both bought and free).
There's literally no reason I would ever give that up for any new console. I actually find it difficult to accept that anyone would (yet accept I do, because it happens rather a lot. At times I think I may be something close to an exception).
As for choice, I'm already a PS+ member (paid for another year a couple weeks ago) so that's not a thing, and I can't imagine X-Box giving me a better offer for my money than what that has. Pretty sure last year when I paid my $50 for it, I downloaded $100+ worth of free games immediately...

So yeah, easy choice for me. Exclusives aren't even part of the equation.

If I were to purchase one it would be the XB1. Simply becuase I want Killer Instinct. Played the hell out of that game back in the day in tournaments and such. The new one looks amazing.

That said, I won't be purchasing one for quite some time. :(

All, I've moved this to the Other Games General area, as this is not Duels of the Planeswalkers specific.

Thanks!

Well, in that case Kheldar, it would be nice to mention that the first post was questioning if DotP was on either console :)

As for myself, I'm planning on getting both in due time. For now the PS3 has at least 2 games coming that I definitely want to play and the 360, while a bit dusty, still gets some love.
So as of right now, I'm fine with 360/PS3/WiiU.
It also doesn't help that the One still has no release date in my country -.-

Bought a WiiU when Monster Hunter 3U came out and sunk multiple hundreds of hours into it. So even though it's currenty collecting some dust again (expecting SM3DW with christmas), it's already earned its place. Also, I could now give my Wii to my 5-year old nephew. He was quite excited with that.

I only buy Nintendo and pc but I have always hated how Microsoft has handled Xbox so I would choose ps4

Alright troublemaker! =P

Yes, while the original discussion did involve a question around DotP, I felt that it was mostly aimed as a discussion between two systems, and as such, belonged in the "Other Games General" area, rather than in the "Duels of the Planeswalkers" section.

To add my thoughts, I'm undecided. Currently, I only have a Wii. I can say I won't be an early adopter of either, so, I'll have plenty of time to make my decision. Although, I think I'm leaning towards the PS4, as I give M$ more than enough of my money...

Yes my OP was about dotp but greatful for the input about the systems. Guess ill wait like a few said till more games are released and the bugs are worked out.

@Elijin--So what your saying is if I 'did' get an xbone I would have XBL on that one as long as I have it current on my 360? I had some extra cash and just bought another year. That would suck if you had to activate a second account.

Thanks all!

Yeah your XBL sub extends across both systems, and use of one doesnt affect the other. Huge step forward over the **** GFWL interface, which used to sign me out of my xbox if I tried to play something on my PC that ran on GFWL. Couldnt express how much this pissed me off, as GFWL is a free service, and XBL isnt.

I want to get an XBox One... But I don't have $600 to spend just to play Killer Instinct.

aka more than just the new Killzone game.

I also already have way more games than I have time or motivation for
