Unluckily we didn't get to play

Almost blew the window I had for open enrollment in healthcare and my wife lost her job last week so I really needed to jump on it to take in our different income.
I am available this evening for anyone else for a while. I'm sure in 3 or 4 hours I'll retire to the living room.

I run out of gas pretty early, Vert was lacking counters, but he managed to stabilize at 3 with very precise top decking skills, a couple of spot removal and one sweeper, very close game.

This was quite interesting, Teferis floating everywhere, we must have played like 4-5 copies of the villain of Dominaria, I played 3 Nivs and Vert managed to deal with them all -nicely done- I foolishly attacked to a Settle the Wreckage and lost my last Niv, next turn Vert resolves Omniscience and that split izzet spell that fetches for two cards... I did not want to wait 10 more minutes until Vert manages to actually win so GG´s.

That's why you gotta mix it up. The magic of the KOTH format is that it rewards people who have large card pools and can play diverse deck strategies. I wouldn't need to alter my deck vs. Tokens. I could just switch my deck to something more able to deal with Tokens.
