The way I see it atm is that the tournament should have both options available. Discord is awesome if you need to share info quickly, work out with your opponent when to play your games or communicate while playing. The forum format has its own appeal and is super useful for info that should be available to everyone and has to be easy to find.

No one should be forced to use only one of these imo. So, as far as planning goes there will be a thread on NGA for sure.

I love Kryder, but I totally hate what he did during the last Duels tournament. He's irresponsible, he'll drop everything, slam the door and leave everybody hanging because of a mood swing. I don't look forward to him organizing tournaments again or participating in his tournaments.

You could upgrade to a PC and get rid of those two

Get a wireless gamepad, one of those tiny desktops that can go in the living room, connect it to your tv, squint and pretend your playing on a console.

I see your point there, Yondar. That's why I'll make sure that there are more people on the organization team this time. So, even if someone opts out or gets hit by a bus, the tournament will continue without drama or changes.

That's exactly what I did for DOTP 2015 other than just using my regular pc. Come to think about it I bought a used pc just to play the game because of video card situation. The one I had at the time was agp and would only go to 500 mg if I remember right.
I needed another one anyway. It's what I'm still using. 3 gig processor and 2 gig pcie video card with 6 gig ram.
