Yup, you'll get 10 pre-con decks with cards M19 and older. The same decks you got during Closed Beta.

Also got Izzet today, together with the UR quest for the pack. Ral just found a new home :) (I'll probably still prioritize my Golgari deck with the wildcards)

Actually, I believe the rakdos deck is different. I don't remember it having a rekindling Phoenix and I distinctly remember people complaining about not getting the dragonskull summit, which was in the precon I just got.

There are a few lists posted. I have BW and UR, which are already there.

Thanks for your list.

edit: And yes, they were updated.

The BR deck is different; it was a Pirate deck before.

I have been having a lot of fun with the BR deck, though I am finding myself phasing out red. The red is mainly there with a Goblin sacrifice subtheme but there aren't enough Goblins to maximize it and the sacrifice abilities only use Goblins. Red does let you use Threaten with sacrifice abilities Brawl-Bash Ogre is still a good free sacrifice ability. I added an Isareth the Awakener I opened, then a Whisper, Blood Liturgist but the latter doesn't really work.

Edit: Also, the precons don't include planeswalkers anymore so far. Sad!

Gruul Dinos:

1 Carnage Tyrant (XLN) 179
3 Llanowar Elves (M19) 314
10 Forest (M19) 277
1 Rootbound Crag (XLN) 256
2 Druid of the Cowl (M19) 177
2 Raptor Hatchling (XLN) 155
9 Mountain (M19) 273
3 Elvish Rejuvenator (M19) 180
3 Draconic Disciple (M19) 215
2 Knight of the Stampede (RIX) 138
2 Frenzied Raptor (XLN) 146
2 Charging Tuskodon (RIX) 97
1 Needletooth Raptor (RIX) 107
2 Charging Monstrosaur (XLN) 138
1 Silverclad Ferocidons (RIX) 115
1 Etali, Primal Storm (RIX) 100
1 Banefire (M19) 130
1 Pelakka Wurm (M19) 192
1 Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma (M19) 186
2 Colossal Majesty (M19) 173
3 Lightning Strike (XLN) 149
3 Shock (M19) 156
4 Timber Gorge (M19) 258

Don't know if the deck itself is strong (will test), but certainly has a few nice cards to improve other decks. No PT powerlevel of course, but I don't need that just yet. Gets stale soon enough.

I'm much afraid of only getting 5 of the 10 pre-cons, though. That is only speculation, but that could prove awful if I fail to get my Merfolk.

Actually you only get half of that now, according to the patch notes

https://mtgarena.community.gl/forums/threads/37049

Quote:
The on-boarding quest chain has been updated. The number of quests in-between deck rewards have been cut in half. Players will receive a total of 5 dual-colored decks and 5 Booster packs after completing the on-boarding quest chain.

Better hope you luck out into GW with history of benalia.

So, Dino results:

First, I modified the deck with what I had:

1 Carnage Tyrant (XLN) 179
3 Llanowar Elves (M19) 314
8 Forest (M19) 277
1 Rootbound Crag (XLN) 256
4 Druid of the Cowl (M19) 177
8 Mountain (M19) 273
3 Draconic Disciple (M19) 215
2 Knight of the Stampede (RIX) 138
2 Charging Tuskodon (RIX) 97
2 Charging Monstrosaur (XLN) 138
1 Etali, Primal Storm (RIX) 100
1 Pelakka Wurm (M19) 192
1 Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma (M19) 186
4 Lightning Strike (XLN) 149
3 Shock (M19) 156
4 Timber Gorge (M19) 258
3 Shivan Fire (DAR) 142
1 Burning Sun's Avatar (XLN) 135
1 Llanowar Elves (DAR) 168
1 Declare Dominance (M19) 175
1 Ghalta, Primal Hunger (RIX) 130
3 Mountain (RIX) 195
2 Forest (RIX) 196

And it was no good at all. I've completed the quest to cast 40 red/green and got only 2 wins during these games. Need to gather my daily wins with another deck now.

Cheer up, it's quickplay and the games are completely and utterly meaningless. Decks are bad and the player that draws fewer of those bad cards wins. I do things like concede the moment I fail to hit a land drop, because why not.

I don't mind. Opponents don't run t1 either. It's just that I get better results with my previous decks ;)

Likely the final version of my Golgari Singleton deck:

1 x Pilfering Imp
1 x Stitcher's Supplier
1 x Llanowar Elves
1 x Pelt Collector

1 x Graveyard Marshal
1 x Seeker's Squire
1 x Druid of the Cowl
1 x Kraul Harpooner
1 x Merfolk Branchwalker
1 x Glowspore Shaman
1 x Cast Down
1 x Mausoleum Secrets
1 x Vicious Offering
1 x Assassin's Trophy
1 x Discovery // Dispersal

1 x Isareth the Awakener
1 x Midnight Reaper
1 x Plaguecrafter
1 x Jadelight Ranger
1 x Charnel Troll
1 x Murder
1 x Journey to Eternity

1 x Ravenous Chupacabra
1 x Nullhide Ferox
1 x Price of Fame
1 x Vraska's Contempt
1 x Vraska, Golgari Queen
1 x Status // Statue

1 x Doom Whisperer
1 x The Eldest Reborn
1 x Gruesome Menagerie
1 x Vivien Reid

1 x Carnage Tyrant
1 x Izoni, Thousand-Eyed
1 x Vraska, Relic Seeker

Lands (25):
9 x Swamp
9 x Forest
1 x Memorial to Folly
1 x Memorial to Unity
1 x Overgrown Tomb
1 x Woodland Cemetery
1 x Golgari Guildgate
1 x Foul Orchard
1 x Evolving Wilds

Import

The deck was bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. I had hoped that this deck would clarify whether I wanted to build Golgari Crats (Llanowar Elves, Stitcher's Supplier, Glowspore Shaman and Explore creatures together with Midnight Reaper, Isareth, Gruesome Menagerie and maybe an Izoni or two), Golgari Beatdown (Pelt Collector -> Glowspore Shaman -> Charnel Troll -> Nullhide Ferox -> Doom Whisperer (-> Carnage Tyrant) is straight gas) or Golgari Midrange (having Surveil on Discovery, Price of Fame, Doom Whisperer and maybe 1-2 more cards to recur Blood Operative); and which of these decks want Blue (for Narcomoeba and some more Surveil). Instead I just want to build them all. My next 20 or so wildcards will not last very long :V

In singleton I ended up playing izzet tempo/burn splashing Teferi due to my best card rewards coming in those colours. Was super effective. I'm sad now though, the event being over means I get to look at my terrible collection and wonder wtf do I do about a constructed deck. Got a lot of rares/mythics from the event but naturally they're all in different colours and I can't really see anything in there that'd stand up to the constructed even que. Still a really good event all told, kudos to WoTC for staging it, I just hope that we get a quick draft that's worth doing soon (M19 is terrible for deck building ofc, not touching it), I guess until then I'll just log to do dailies only.
