Just noticed that you can even use assassin's trophy to fix or ramp your own mana if your in a tight spot (if you have a permanent you want in the gy for example, to save it from exile maybe?), But odds are, you'll probably have better targets on your opponent's side...

t1 Forest Llanowar Elves
t2 Land Chromatic Lantern
t3 Land Jodah

Then you have 3 lands, the lantern and the elves to produce one mana of each color to cast anything. Maybe Omniscience to further reduce the mana constraints. You have to live though.

Niv Mizzet is so sexy... I think he is breakable, Sarkhan can cast him on T4 or you can go for Chromatic lantern -without abrade artifacts will flourish- and build an insane Grixis control pile.

Goblin electromancer seems nuts in the wizards deck... he turns lighting Strike and Wizards Lightning into 8 bolts! and he gives you the 1CMC blink effect... Haven we got work to do

We'll have to see what else black gets, but finding Trophy, Contempt, and Necrotic Wound at instant speed seems like a good start.

I'm loving this set so much, Standard will be hard to figure out with so many things floating around, and Limited looks funky as hell!
