Without even trying I will assume there is going to be buttloads of Aetherflux Reservoir being played.

If not that, then Turbo Fog or other similarly annoying decks. Not touching that mode.

UW Sun is also a pretty good contender.

I do hate, as Haven so eloquently put, sitting there while they masturbate.
I met another a couple hours ago. Very annoying. Luckily my Wizards/Burn deck does not care about their sexual or otherwise gratifications.

Edit: Isn't this were Barn comes in with a really risque remark.

Oh yeah baby!!! Played two events, went 5-0 both times, annoyed the HELL out of everybody, especially the four control decks :V
:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
Alas, no opponent played fog, as much as I would like to brag about that... well, maybe tomorrow.

Hey nomad!
Good to see you in these parts.

I was thinking about trying squee's paradox, but I'll probably have to tune the deck vs control to stand a chance.

OK, another two runs, both 5-0. In all, 4 runs, all 5-0.

This time, one of the opponents was fog. He/she _almost_ comboed off, taking 5 turns in a row, during which they dropped Teferi and Nissa. But those were their last turns. I was so excited that I recorded this game.

The amulet/nexus combo in this event is simply insane. Yeah, I felt dirty all the way, oink-oink

For those dirty pigs among us interested, here's the list. It's based on Superladmans' deck, which was based on Thelona's idea, with some changes.

Thelona's Lifegain

3 Nexus of Fate (M19) 306
1 Aetherflux Reservoir (KLD) 192
4 Primal Amulet (XLN) 243
4 Revitalize (M19) 35
4 Ritual of Rejuvenation (XLN) 32
4 Fumigate (KLD) 15
2 Opt (XLN) 65
3 Anticipate (M19) 44
4 Supreme Will (HOU) 49
2 Search for Azcanta (XLN) 74
3 Blink of an Eye (DAR) 46
1 Banefire (M19) 130
2 Commit /// Memory (AKH) 211
8 Island (KLD) 253
8 Plains (KLD) 250
4 Glacial Fortress (XLN) 255
3 Irrigated Farmland (AKH) 245

Pro tip: if you for some reason want to keep playing this accursed format, pack Sorcerous Spyglass. Just about everybody is bringing either Teferi or Reservoir.

Yondar, I'd think those fumigates would be way less useful when nobody's playing creatures. I know I was cycling my Sweltering Suns regularly. How did they do for you?

Yeah, this is my Standard build for this deck, because I’m too lazy to customize it for TTL. The Fumigates are not as useful as in Standard, but still somewhat useful, even if just to get rid of the scarab god for one turn, that is often all you need. If I wanted to make a TTL edition of this deck, I’d swap at least 1 Fumigate and 1 Ritual for two Negates. But the thing is, the deck is so OP it wins anyway.
