I´m crushing competitive play with the Baby Bolas Grixis midrange deck, that deck is fresh air for me, too bad it dies with rotation. The mana base can be awful but once you hit your colors it stabilizes rather consistently.

Snatched from MTG GOLDFISH

4 Glint-Sleeve Siphoner
3 Champion of Wits
3 Whirler Virtuoso
3 Nicol Bolas, the Ravager
3 The Scarab God
1 Torrential Gearhulk

1 Liliana, Death's Majesty

3 Abrade
1 Commit /// Memory
2 Harnessed Lightning
3 Magma Spray
2 Supreme Will
1 Unlicensed Disintegration
4 Vraska's Contempt
1 Cut /// Ribbons

1 Island
1 Mountain
2 Swamp
4 Aether Hub
4 Canyon Slough
3 Dragonskull Summit
3 Drowned Catacomb
4 Fetid Pools
1 Field of Ruin
3 Sulfur Falls

Not my cup of tea... Looks like Dimir mid-range scarab god.dec wth some red throw in foras bolas...

Actually, Nicholas Wolfram has tempted me into jank-building when he ironically mentioned a mono-red mill deck. I think it's possible.

How about, Paradox Engine + Squee + Guilded lotus + Banefire?
Edit:
I built this nonsense its 2-0 on brewers delight

2 Paradox Engine
4 Gilded Lotus
3 Squee, the Immortal

2 Banefire
4 Walking Ballista
1 Jaya's Immolating Inferno
2 Fight with Fire

4 Cathartic Reunion
3 Jaya Ballard

2 Hour of Devastation
3 Sweltering Suns

3 Magma Spray
3 Abrade

24 Mountain

Yay!!!
Big thanks to the opponent that endured the combo till the very end... he has at 29... so it took a bit longer :P

I really like the turbofog deck, way better than what I thought up. Nexus wasn't even on my radar. I really like the sideboard options it has too, seems able to be pretty strong against everything and has a solid game 1 vs r/b and green. Think I have most of the cards, might have to invest my next wildcards into Nexus. Might be short some lands, but they'd mostly be useful for other decks too. Just need to work out how to consistently respond to my own triggers on arena, full control seems to just turn itself off randomly for me.

Pretty cool that the mono green list is identical to mine, lot of people were playing Vine Mare maindeck, seems my thinking that topping at 3 mana mostly was just better was right (and it's not great vs chainwhirler).

Not impressed by storm, seems so inconsistent. It's wrecked my green deck a few times and other times it just dies. Seems awful vs UW as well. It's dead after rotation anyway.

edit:looks like I need 4 more mythi and 7 rares for turbofog. Looks like I need to draft more this week sometime.

I beat something that must have been turbofog with my new squee's paradox deck yesterday. I couldn't figure out what the hell he was trying to do most of the game but I deduced it was combo. I just went off first (full infinite mode).

Yep, Turbofog made some impact during PT M25 and I've played a list on Arena as well.

There seem to be two takes on the list, so I'll try to break it down a bit.

Core cards(25):
4 x Nexus of Fate
4 x Haze of Pollen
4 x Root Snare
4 x Teferi, Hero of Dominaria
2 x Karn, Scion of Urza
4 x Gift of Paradise
3 x Search for Azcanta

Early card selection (4)
4 x Anticipate
OR
4 x Chart a Course

Flex slots (5)
2 x Beneath the Sands
2 x Nissa, Steward of the Elements
1 x Oath of Teferi
OR
2 x Glimmer of Genius
1 x The Mirari Conjecture
1 x Karn's Temporal Sundering
1 x Anticipate

Lands(26):
4 x Irrigated Farmland
4 x Scattered Groves
4 x Hinterland Harbor
2 x Glacial Fortress
2 x Sunpetal Grove
4 x Island
4 x Forest
and now EITHER
1 x Island
1 x Plains
OR
1 x Botanical Sanctum
1 x Glacial Fortress

Preferred Pronoun Set: Mr.
That Cat deck reminded me I have a pretty strong one and it gave me some ideas for improvement (see constructed decks). It's even more fun now than before!

Basically. Loop Nexus for taking turns, ride Teferi up to the ultimate, destroy the opposing landbase (which the opponent cannot build up afterwards), -3 a second Teferi over and over again.

Alternatively, make a ton of Constructs with Karn or ultimate Nissa twice during all of the extra turns you have.

Boy that turbo fog deck is not fun to play against in Arena. Decision points for days that they have to click through.

Just a heads up - if you're queing into a lot of Fog there's already an answer that's standard legal - Insult/Injury (no idea how to make the link work for these cards). It's not a terrible card on its own either, can cheese wins pretty hard.

Code:

Insult // Injury

vicious conquistador and Night Market Lookout are great against fogs, as is the throne of the god-pharaoh.

Just be thankful the fog decks don't run counterspells.
