It's pretty likely that they just did a no-kill because MyLo has a lower chance of success than LyLo.

But now mafia can't reliably win. Say we lynch town and next night another townie dies, there is one town player and one mafia player left. The rules say in case of a tied vote, HW will decide the vote with a secret system, so that means it won't be a tie and the win would be decided by the secret system. I think.

I'm pretty sure his secret system refered to the tie breaker role, if there's one present still and it's town they can't stop the mafia win in that situation anyway.

I tried crunching numbers overnight to see if changing my target would be warranted. If Dusky were scum it'd behoove her to hit either rag or Rubik since I'd likely side with her. Similar logic applies to me in relation to her. In Rag or Rubik's case they'd be better off targeting myself or Dusky to break up any such alliance. To this end I maintained my targeting since I think it's likeliest Rubik is the remaining scum.

The four of us remaining does create more descent and hiding room however.

Well like day 2 i asked HW if i could just put a standing target on you and he said that was fine, just to pm him if i wanted to change it so I should have targeted you last night per that but i havent sent an actual pm in doing so since that exchange.

As for the purposefullness of the lack of kill i dont know. I regularly checked the neighborhoods for signs of night activity but they've pretty much been abandoned since mid yesterday. Could be purposeful. Could be that scum just missed night entirely and arrrgggh was keeping things running smooth in their stead. I dont really see evidence to either conclusion. Im just sure i didnt stop any kills since im not dead and all.

Well, with Aaarrrgh being mafia, I think Rubik is by far the most likely other candidate.

I don't think a no lynch accomplishes much in this case. If mafia truly wants MyLo and we go no lynch, they can just not kill anyone next night either... and then we are stuck in an eternal loop.

Rag, please reconsider. If the mafia wants MyLo, they will just not do a hit ever. We can't force a LyLo.

Rubik has been very quick to vota all game - until Aaarrrgh was on the chopping block.
Aaarrrgh campagined against Rubik repeatedly - until it was actually risky, and he switched to Rag.
The most logical mafia partner for Aaarrrgh were either Rubik or me.
Mathematically (yes, I know you guys don't like this reasoning), Rubik and Aaarrgh are the most likely suspects.

Rubik even gave us his reasoning why he wouldn't do a hit.

If you think someone else is more likely, by all means give your reasons, but I really don't see the benefit of a no lynch if you assume mafia didn't hit on purpose.
