Several things. Maybe more as I think of them as I type this.

First and foremost, arguments concerning why someone would/wouldn't do something as scum/not as scum typically don't work. I'm certainly not going to sit here and make that argument because people don't know what I would or wouldn't do as scum.

Second, me claiming won't save me. It'll only be another nail in my coffin (a nail some will more than likely hammer home).

Third, the reasons for voting me have clearly been stated. We've got what, four people voting me? Neo, Dusky, Rubik, and Rag. Rag and Rubik have scarcely any reason. Neo's reason is coupled strictly to his ability (which focuses on a chance). As for Dusky, I forget at this point in time.

Fourth, outside of these people you have Sky, JD, and Argh. Sky I'm already suspicious of just because of how he initially approached Neo vs me (and has since argued stuff that isn't overtly practical to the entire point of the discussions). JD I find to be more helpful in that he's contributed in a practical manner despite getting involved in a back and forth with Sky.

Fifth, and finally, Argh I am suspicious of for his defense of me for the first part of this post. I'm not going out of my way to defend myself over whether or not, as scum, I would or wouldn't do something. There's no definitive reason to believe I am scum or town (there is only reason that hints that I *could* be scum). The focus should be on the interactions (as far as I'm concerned). Argh's defense of me in such a manner therefore comes off as odd to me.

So I'm suspicious of both Sky and Argh. I am also of the mind that there may be one scum on my wagon (and that is a coin toss as to who -- I actually agree with JD that Neo is town, it's just unfortunate Neo pursued this course which will result in difficulty later on once I am lynched). I hate Rag's meta (afk means Rag is scum, active Rag means Rag is town -- except for that one game when Rag was active as scum with Rubik and I and ended up throwing her life away -- so maybe Rag might be interested purely because of her role. Maybe. Probably.). I got nothing on Rubik though. Wagons gonna band.

My choice for likely scum would be Argh first with Sky second (I'm willing to accept that I tunneled on Sky initially with my reaction to him and that it further biased me). Rubik would be my third choice purely for the bandwagon (and nothing else to assess beyond that).

I just can't see why he would bother with making such a post at this moment unless he is town. If he turned out town, the post would provide helpful analysis intended to help town. If he's mafia, it will be completely ignored and not serve any purpose, while a fake claim could have had more impact.

Only other reason could obviously be to exactly make that impression and nothing else, but I just don't know if he'd bother.

Not suspicious enough of anyone else to warrant a vote, though. As far as I can tell it wouldn't matter unless someone else unvotes in time.

My response to Neo was supposed to be read as "Why would specifically being scum be the thing that stops someone from claiming?"

I responded to his lazy and badly stated argument with a lazy and badly stated argument of my own, which I can now see the irony in.

And hey, I wanted to get something more out of KoD before he dies, and I got that. I guess it's a classic "be careful what you wish for" scenario.

I fully expect to rise on KoD's suspicion list for unvoting him.

Would someone please say that they have some big revelation? Because there were too many things that looked scummy last night for me to trust that we'll focus on the right one now.

My top suspects are still Rag (although my phone just tried to correct that to trash, so it seems even my technology is biased), and Rubik. But that is just guy feelings based on my recollection of D1. I need to read everything again before I can make a call.
