Yeah, at low ranks, I struggle to maintain 50% with that list. One weather clear and it feels hopeless.

Nothing more frustrating than running mill into a 40 card deck.

Super satisfying to go 9-1 in Arena with a deck with only 8 golds and a dead card (Alchemist with no alchemy cards).

Lol, all the jank at the bottom of the ladder. No wonder people play Brouver at those ranks - the deck may not be objectively better than the other top decks, but it's difficult to hate out, has versatile answers, and is easy to outplay opponents with.

Yeah, playing mediocre junk just to get back into Arena, I'm way down the ladder.

Yeah, and I get this game where in Axemen vs. Alchemy (a favourable matchup for Axemen), opponent first Runestones into Vanmehar and then Black Bloods into Abaya. I forfeited without playing it out. Maybe I could still have won, but god, stuff the RNG, you, and your 4 Djisktras.

First impressions, Greatswords now best deck since all the other top decks took a hit. It's disappointing since there's rather a lack of strong Greatsword hate cards - Muzzle is the best one, but the Greatsword deck can just Muzzle back. There are cards like Artefact Compression (terrible if not flat out embarrassing against non-Greatsword non-Consume decks), Vaedamakar (Priestess of Freya undoes all your work), locks (you have to draw it, and even then it only answers one Greatsword; there are three), Scorch (doesn't work if you're running a deck that also has big units), idk what else. My Dagon Moonlight & Harald decks both received a big buff with the Wardancer change, but they also have bad matchups vs. Greatsword.

Olgierd looks meh now. Winch might also be unplayable too. Mulligan can still naturally draw Yaevinn, but being able to drypass on the blue coin is a way to play around the Cleaver combo. However Wardancers getting nuked without a strength buff probably renders them unviable (yeye Officer can mulligan them to be ... and 11 point 2-card combo bronze?), and Elven Scout not spawning another body is also an indirect nerf.

No rework of Sabbath is very disappointing, no nerf to Greatswords also a bit disappointing.

Ozzrel, Caretaker, and Muzzle. Basically everything designed to deal with SK while still putting forth solid efforts against Consume, Alchemy, and Henselt.

Should be fun.

Problem with Ozzrel + Caretaker is that you still only have one play, so you can only take one of the Greatswords. Lacerate is also less than ideal since you're running frost which kills units which reduces Lacerate damage output. If you're worried about Greatswords you could run Alzur's Thunder instead, I have been using Triss: TK + Thunder and I've only played against the GS deck once, but it overperformed in that match. I can see Thunder as a bad card in Eredin though since you already have plenty of ways to deal with non-GS engines. Caranthir might be helpful since you both get the move effect and get to apply frost at the same time. Finally I'd be more inclined to run Reconnaissance instead of First Light since you already have Abaya, maybe -Abaya -Jotun -Caretaker/Poet +Monster Nest +Mandrake +Whispess is another consideration since Whispess into Monster Nest into Ghoul eating a spy is very strong for a single-card play.

You know me, I'm always willing to go suboptimal for the sake of sticking to my favored playstyle. I still dust off mill from time to time.

I'm all about Arena anyway nowadays.
