Starting a new one here as I foresee the Duels forum more than likely dying in the next couple of years as all the old DOTP and console (when it's released on them) people will concentrate here.

One Punch Man is not as good as people say it is. It's not bad. But it's not as clever as people made it out to be.

I check these forums while waiting to get into the beta.

Basically nowhere else on the internet cares about MTG: Arena.

I don't comment much because no one cares about my opinion.

Edit: On a side note, the old DOTP forums no longer look like a game of Pokemon Go gone horribly wrong.

For better or worse I have not gotten to play it despite signing up immediately, so I don't currently have an opinion on Hearthstone the Gathering: Arena.

I'm hoping I get in eventually, but at this point in time I basically consider my chances of getting in worse than the chances of people letting me play Forest without freaking out.

Edit: A little bit of exploration never hurts though. I now have a Switch, an XBone, and a PS4 so I can basically play anything else I want.

Why does Whirlwind for 3 energy count as damaging The Guardian once but damaging a Spiker 3 times?

Mega Crit, I need consistency here. This is not Schrödinger's Whirlwind we are talking about. Either it counts as one attack or 3 attacks. Make up your mind and code it so that in the future when new enemies come out I can tell what the frick is going to happen when I play a deck against someone with Bronze Scales or Caltrops.

It's depressing that I signed up for MTG: Arena on the first day it was available, they started doing non-priority access in early Jan, and I still can't get into the darn thing.

I have about 2 weeks off coming up. With my luck I'll get a beta invite the day after those 16 days are up, if I get one at all.

Edit: It's probably for the best tbh. No one wants me posting on the beta forums.

Between Gwent, Hearthstone, and two other games that shall remain un-named; I have grown to completely hate F2P card games.

Reason: I hate nerfs. For a variety of reasons. Some games treat it like a game of whack a mole, others just became bland as shrak, and so on. But the real reason I hate them is that they basically punish you for investing in a powerful deck. Sure, that one card that got nerfed can get dusted for full value. But all the other cards you put tons of resources into? That's all wasted value now.

I hate hate hate nerfs.

My hope for MTG: Arena is that it's going to be different b/c the game is based on physical cards you can't nuke nerf into oblivion. But everything I'm hearing about the economy makes it sound depressing in its own fashion.
