The game interface seems cluncky (LOL, Stainless didn't do it THAT bad)!!!!

What Devilwuster said. I bought a pack and it either disappeared or the cards got auto-unlocked and I have no idea what I got.

To buy 1 pack, I had to do all the 3 daily quests and went something like 7-2/8-2...

How much time did that took you?

They already stated in previous stream how normal packs is 8 cards and draft packs will be 14 cards but I don't think I should go into detail why Nate's pack only showed 6 cards, lets just say its a current bug.

All in all the game is great, just needs some getting used to. Many new cards, Card skills are triggered differently, there are real phases etc.

I think the more you play the more you'll get used to it. It doesn't seem clunky to me at all right now, matter of fact after the wipe/patch it seems way smoother and faster but then again I didn't play Duels hardly. I mean the latest Duels. I played 2015 on the pc but used a controller as I'm not crazy about playing this on pc. I've gotten used to it a bit now and like I said it seems pretty smooth to me and if it keeps getting more refined with patches I think it's going to turn out way better than Stainless stuff.
If the economy gets made into something WAY better and matchmaking and other formats work out I can say I will really be looking forward to when they finally release and it comes to the consoles.
There's potentially a great product here. Will they go all the way and make it a great product is the ongoing question though.

I do really enjoy the real phases. No chance you won't crack that Wilds. You get priority passed so much it can get annoying if you have a new tester on the other side who doesn't pass. I'll admit more than once at the beginning it confused me a little. It almost seemed it was my turn as I had control of Attack, Block, Damage, etc because of having an instant or flash in my hand or a Wilds on the board.

I can take a while if you aren't playing Dinos. Any of you all who have played me in the past know I don't like going mainstream like that. I'd rather win by my own design and not basically netdecking. I have an Azorius flying/tempo deck, R weenie deck, Orz vamp deck and a pure black "as much kill as I can" deck I've been playing. In the current blocks though there isn't any sac or board wipe or multiple kills in black and that's a little sad. There's a couple of cards and that's it. Distress only does so much to Dinos. There's a nice Dino hunter but even a 4x it's not much in stopping tramplers. Can't really make a control/face deck right now either.

Well, Dinos are easy to build from the get-go, even without the starting packs. Then when you open them and add some random loot they basically get strong within minutes as the ramp spells: Otepec Huntmaster and Drover of the Mighty are uncommon.

Those two alone start the hurt. Out of Dino frustration I conceded a couple of games the other day close to the beginning because it was like, "oh, this again".

We've got plenty of early removal in the game... is it just hard to come by, or does the "kill-the-dork" strategy fail against Dinos?

Also, considering the nature of the beasts (haha), what about some of the control builds that might be viable? There are multiple sweepers in RW as well as some decent value blockers, and (I'd argue) reasonable finishers for control (especially if we stretch to Mardu - not sure if the mana can handle that though). Can a slower control deck prey upon Dinos, or is that still just a dream?

Also, (and this is IMPORTANT), what's the Dino deck clock? 4 turns? 5 turns? 6? when do you die? (e.g.: by when must you answer their threats?)

Alternatively, although I like it less, there are probably decent sweepers/finishers in plain old UW as well.

I finally got in! And immediately found my slow computer isn't exactly up to the task, which is unsurprising but disappointing. Do I really need a new laptop for arena? Boo.

Did you set anything to low? Ihave an i7 laptop with intel graphics. It runs Diablo3, but just to be sure I set the settings in mtga to low.

It might be your pc or it could be a more simple video card deal.
I have a Core vPro Duo E8400 3 gig 64 bit processor, 4 gigs of ram and a 1 gig NVIDA card (I had to buy this to play DOTP 2015 because the game card graphics wouldn't even show up on my then present one. It didn't have PCI express so I couldn't go over 756 mg on the video card.) and I have to put it on the lowest graphic setting in the game to exact smoothness. I've have noticed since the patch it's much quicker and less clunky. I might me able to bump the graphics up.
There's a corporate recycle place that's local to me where I bought this one and recently 2 for the kids. Since mine's a few years older it's actually a little slower on the processor side compared with the kid's. They have a deal for a pc like mine or even better now, a lcd... like 18 inch monitor I believe, usb keyboard and mouse and loaded with Windows 10 for $99 us. They also have an online store and I'm pretty sure you can get the same deal.

Edit: Here's their Deals page. Click this instead. I see they $149 laptops. Haven't looked at the specs but with the pc deal you'll get one at least as powerful as mine. I bought the video card from them for $40 us. It only comes with onboard graphics so you'll need to upgrade. Good thing is it's PCI Express and you can get really big. On my son's system I'm going to take out my 1 gig and give it to him and replace mine with a 4 gig.

Thanks, turning graphics low and resolution all the way down gives me something I guess can be defined as playable, though this Surface Pro 2 is kinda begging for its life.

Seems to work fine on my Acer i3. I didn’t necessarily have to turn anything down graphics wise. I don’t think it needs a graphic powerhouse anyway but probably a decent cpu so any i series should do. SD

They made some improvements in the graphics during the last patch I've noticed. Full screen use came back.

The economy went full retard though.
