Just saw Black Panther.
It was decent, but certainly not 100% on Rotten Tomatoes good.
There were a lot of bold elements that I really enjoyed, and T'challa is still a pretty good character, but where it stumbles is in a real lack of subtlety.

And unfortunately, the fact of the matter is there's going to be an uncomfortable amount of the audience walking out thinking the villain of the piece was in the right.

Geez...
It's been nearly a month since this thread saw any activity.

Ummm... Thinking of rebuilding my Tamiyo deck now that the sagas are being printed. Unfortunately, while flavorful, I've no idea how that would impact the gameplay.
And I'm still not sure about creature types for the deck.

I've been streaming a lot, almost reached affiliate. Really tired from work. Legion season 2 is coming, smash bros, stuff.

I'm excited for Smash bros, but that trailer didn't tell us much. Inklings are in. Judging by how everything was in shadow, I'm guessing the graphics aren't finalized.

In general, it does seem like everyone has had an unusual amount on their plates as of late.
Just chalk it up to that time of year I guess.

I second Jman22's opinion. Everything is crazy.

Also, hi, I'm back! It's been bugging me that I haven't been here in forever. Sometimes I think I'm too antisocial for my own good, even behind a screen.

In case you don't know me, hello! I'm Pepper. Once upon a time, I was one of the exiles from the old WotC boards after they got nuked. I'm Blue, and when I'm not disappearing, I try to be pretty friendly.

Learned about the borborites. Assuming its not just demonization, a world where this became the official Christianity would be... interesting.

On Borborites: Some of those early Christian sects make some of the new Christian sects look pretty tame. They share a their idea of a dual-natured god with the Cathars among others. The problem of Theodicy in mainstream Christianity leads to some pretty weird explanations.
The pseudo-Christian Manicheans felt the same way too.

Learning about how the different early Christian sects competed was a big step towards not being a fundamentalist. It's a bit of history I still find fascinating!

I hadn't read these... details about the Borborites. Pretty wild! (Side note, the name reminds me of Borborygmos, which I guess is kinda suitable? Their communal sex rituals sound sorta R/G to me, IDK.)
