It's one of 2 games that make me want to buy a switch. The other is the yet to be announced SSMB game.

SSJ4 is awful design though, almost as bad as No eyebrows saiyan 3.

It was strictly superior to just turning blue though.

It harkens back to the old kaioken stuff. Its a nice clean, simple design. Also blue is a good color.

I feel the appeal of kaioken was that it was a dangerous, somewhat foolhardy move that underscored the desperation of a situation. Blue has none of that.

And because it wasn't developed, just dropped on us, it doesn't even carry any emotional weight like ssj 1 or 2. 3 was dropped on us, sure, but because of the physical and mannerisms changing, at least it felt distinct.

In regards to ssj3, it helps that the z fighters were on the backfoot with Buu for most of the arc.

Honestly, I am just talking about color and actual graphic design. Pretty much any emotion attached to anything dragon ball for me is "that's cool"

How I feel after playing against Bayo

I've something of a deck building conundrum, so I thought I'd touch base and see what others thought.
I'm trying to build a kami deck with O-Kagachi as the face card. The problem I'm running into is twofold:
1) it's five colors. I can and really NEED to at least focus it more for the bulk of the deck just for functionality sake.
2) Kamigawa... kinda sucked. The Spirits available here are a mixed bag, and a LOT of them are chaff, so picking out what might be useful has, in itself, been a headache.

Are there any hard flavour constraints that you want to abide by? Like, only cards from Kamigawa block, creature base only spirits and/or affiliated mortals, all instants and sorceries must be arcane etc.?

My gut instinct would be to start with a green core for the deck, mostly for ramp, mana fixing and maybe some tutoring or recursion. Here's a list of stuff from Kamigawa block that you could consider for that:

Lifespinner to get your O-Kagachi
Kodama's Reach
Journeyer's Kite, though might be a bit slow and/or slightly off in flavour
Forbidden Orchard. Yeah, they get a spirit token, but those can't block O-Kagachi and attacking with them only turns his ability on
Elder Pine of Jukai
Time of Need might be a bit unflavourful, but it tutors for O-Kagachi or some other good stuff
Tendo Ice Bridge
Seek the Horizon
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Promised Kannushi brings back pretty much anything, including O-Kagachi himself
Petalmane Baku
Orochi Leafcaller


Shifting Borders for fixing while possibly mana screwing your opponent
Obligatory Final Judgment is obligatory?


Skimming through the cards in the block really makes me want a well executed return to Kamigawa...

Kamigawa block or flavor neutral cards only.
Creature base should probably be only spirits. It's going to be paired, duel deck style, with a Michiko-centric deck. (If you're wondering why Michiko instead of Lord Konda... because Lord Konda is uglier than sin and I already have a Michiko.)

In addition, I'm ambivalent about the presence of Legendaries as an option.


I'm inclined towards green core as well, though it's as much a combination of actually decent creature options and the idea of the kami as natural spirits as well.


Honestly, this one is the suggestion I'm not feeling.

DB Super 126 spoiler



And the DB Super dub has finally hit the Goku Black arc. This arc, plus the two movies Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are about all you really need for DBS. I like how matter of fact Trunks was when it came to Babidi and Dabura. No hee-hawing around, just get rid of them before they wake Buu. I thought it would've been expedient enough, in Z, if Vegeta had Goku instant-transmission them down to Dabura and Babidi. Then Vegeta could've just throttled them or whatever.

The Universe Survival arc has a couple of individually epic scenes, but on the whole, if you told me I had to watch Super or Bio-Broly, I'd pick Bio-Broly every time.
