The third Monster Hunter: Beta starts thursday though, and they're adding a previously unreleased Monster to fight. I'll be doing that again. But sure, I can dust off my old Vampburn deck in the meantime.

No, I think I'm actually just done with CCGs. It's very liberating to get out from underneath the yoke.

Hey, you know how a bunch of RPGs have introduced card game elements? I wonder how many of them have actual CCG apps. Like, what if Bethesda introduced a dumb game of caravan, or Star Wars KoTOR introduced that stupid card game which I hated? I would play those.

Isn't Gwent from The Witcher? Hearthstone is famously based on World of Warcraft though I don't believe that (before it was released) there was a version of it in the WoW mmorpg world.

There was a Vampire: The Masquarade TCG.

One of the first TCGs I played was an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons RPG, and that was before Magic:TG had even come out. I believe it was mainly Forgotten Realms based.

There are editions of Munchkin! that are based on different RPGs.
