Horror Prowess is happening y'all.

Well Wintervoid I’m afraid Highway to Hell has come to an end. Final record was 26-4 for me. Got a 12-0 winstreak in there. Lots of fun. Red was a real problem for me. My losses were to RDW, Boros aggro and twice to Gruul .

Hey Barney, glad you liked it. Your record with it is much better then I ever had with it.

(Try the Desert Eldrazi deck. I know it didn't qualify for the round, but it was a pretty solid deck, and I actually had you in mind when I made it. Couldn't find anything competitive to replace it with, so I passed on round 7.)

Yeah I’m surprised I did as well as I did with Highway to Hell. It always felt like I had the right tools for the moment. I hate to admit it but I think my growing experience with magic has finally made me a decent Control player. I seem to not even hesitate anymore as to what to allow and what to deny.

On other news... I took Soup advice and put a little spice on the deck splashing black to gain access to UD and adding a full Fireweaver set. Scrappy can keep the pressure high after a sweeper and its super fun with engineer on board, Cut is the third removal spell -8 in total- that also -not so often- can end one stalled game, or can make some use of floating mana.
The curve is a lot smother and closer to the ground with lots of 2cmc drops but given that you also have lots of 4cmc spells the land count is still on 25 and that number has allowed the deck to deliver consistency to our game plan

Throne and firewavers on t2 can ping some serious amounts of damage!...
