I had fun writing them (and reading them).
I especially like someone's take on their own deck (video or writeup). There's little things it seems like that aren't immediately obvious in just a few games. And fine yeah, when I started I fastforwarded through because I wanted to see the games with my deck
. But I did watch most of the others in the end too and actually probably enjoyed watching other folks decks more - watching your own creation wither and die is more traumatic than I anticipated...particularly with Greenwarden clunking up the works (that first loss would've been an epic stomping with him as the 2nd rec sage and all the bounce).
Also, on deadbridge shaman, they made it pretty far along in my brew, I liked them quite a bit but ultimately the 3 slot was too crowded, with ralliers being the definites, a min of 1 rec sage (and on the ladder I think there's more than enough targets for these to be an absolute 2), and it was down to the flip walkers/trackers/shaman.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it, it's halfway to an elves deck now...and bouncing Shaman of the Pack/dwynen's elite/deadbridge/cultivator of blades all fit the concept....
The other one that I tried really hard to make was just SNS revolving around
scrap trawler and
ulvenwald mysteries, so consider yourselves lucky that you got the "competitive" list
