I also believe I was before I was born, and will live after I die. My mother and my father have told me that we are all children of the those who created this universe. Before we were born to this life, we were only spirits. We were incomplete. To be like those who created the universe, we must live in bodies of flesh and blood, to grow strong by making moral choices. From the beginning, we were taught about the joy of right choices, and the sorrow of wrong choices. There were those that rejected those teachings, and dwindled away in ignorance, teaching their children lies and chasing fleeting, poisonous pleasures. There are those that heeded the teachings of their parents, and the voice of those who created the universe. They were blessed with serenity even in the midst of suffering, and joy that lasts even beyond death.
