8cmc but Haven runs it!
Anyway from what I've seen so far Dinos are walking all over but not by themselves. I not assuming the meta will shift from Dinos as finishers but even now I'm seeing all Pirate builds and other opponent decks where this card, while a pinch overpriced for some of the removal that has come down the pike, does major, major damage.

Sanguine Sacrament
Lifegain is not a wincon but it sure helps you get there. I'm thinking if having lifegain is your bag this card is essential. 3 mana for 2 life but who in the world would use it then????
Edit: AND it goes back in your library.

I think it's part of the awful Ixalan Mill deck. Navigator's Ruin, Looming Altisaur (careful with that big mill fish cause you don't want to accidentally kill them conventionally), Sacrament and every u/w counter/removal you can muster.

Was trying out Squids Dino deck and didn't have a Kinjalli's Sunwing in my pool so I substituted a little under curve Encampment Keeper and am presently surprised enough by the win I finally got on the game he appeared that I think I can squeeze a few more in there.
Edit: Honestly I do not see me using it's ability at all. I like the cost and first strike. Pretty simple.

First strike and menace seem to be pretty important in early stages and even late game sometimes (menace in particular).

Kinjalli's Sunwing Early can be key, especially in mirror, good also it has flying which is both evasion and protection. In comparison to Thalia, Heretic Cathar where her first strike and 3 power can push through early damage or remove chump blockers.

Just woke up and am not firing up the game to see if she is in the pool but Thalia has the First Strike I like, brings the curve back and with all the haste available out there I see the coming in tapped as big plus. I'll give her a search when I get home.
Damn, it was nice winning one.... although the game kind of freaked out on me when I did.

Wakening Sun's Avatar
8cmc but Haven runs it.

I run the other 8-drop dinosaur: Gishath, Sun’s Avatar, the triple-white is tough as a splash card, but I guess it could be a control-finisher if the meta wasn't 60+% Dinos...
Anyway Gishath is ludicrous, because it has haste, vigilant, trample, a beefy body and it'll draw you more Dinos and put them into play... If that doesn't win you the game, you're gonna lose anyway. Only problem is casting it, but since the dinosaur deck also ramps...

I have faced Wakening Sun's Avatar in the mirror. It's a match I should have closed out anyway but my misplay (twice as it happened same match) was mistaking the 3/3 trample token (via Hutlai) for a Drover when otherwise I would have had the mana to cast Settle the Wreckage. At least I got to see it .... and then thought CR*P this game is lost. It makes the point though that getting to that point in a game, it's likely your toast anyway :D

Devil, she's not. She came in Eldritch Moon so she hit Duels and had an impact on humans decks that was probably one of the strongest Tribals at the time in Duels. I also have her in a recent Duels Bant list (again in Duels) and also have 2 foil copies in paper (she can still be hard to get in the grey market). She is rare so was limited to 2 in Duels.

Sunwing is rare too but at least it's in Dino Tribal. Good luck in landing at least 1!

It would be a great card in 4ffa and I need to stop looking at my Arena decks as versatile that way honestly. It's like Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund.
If you have a chance to play it chances are you were in a winning position to begin with.
All the decks I build from 2012 to 2015 in DOTP functioned great in 1v1 or 4ffa but I really need to quit thinking that way for now.
Thanks for letting my know about Thalia... I would have though there was a bug or something when I eventually didn't get her.

Thought Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund looked familiar :takei: I have 2 Japanese language paper versions. Never been placed in an actual deck as I did not really have many cards from Dragon's of Tarkir set. Apart from being a 7cc creature at 7/7 the rest of his abilities were lost in memory. Still better in 4ffa probably but I could look at working him into a Jund that had a few other dragons.

I'm not sure if he's ever seen the light of day in a 1v1 game but in 4ffa.... when an opponent or two are also playing the dragon deck... freaking amazing!
Those moments are as good as Kor Spiritdancer/Spirit Mantle/Pariah lockdowns that don't suffer removal. Got two of those off last night. One in a 1v1 game although that one was with Unquestioned Authority and one in a 4ffa game. The 4ffa game was amazing as my Spiritdancer did suffer from terminal removal and literally the next turn I topdecked Retether.
That was fun.
Rabbit did whoop me in the following game as retaliation though. Can't say I could blame him. I was ruining the other two players games with the Samuri deck. Rabbit was playing a black deck and Jitte couldn't get him in time.
