Hate is relative. In this contest, it’s the one I enjoyed playing the least. But it’s a blast compared to DCGs abortion in a previous contest where he intentionally didn’t put win conditions (see my sig for reference)

sooo..this is the deck tweaked, its 7-0 on the top of the iOs ladder, and it has 61 cards ;D
Cathartic Mill
Buuuuurn while milling.
Creature(4)
2 x Thing in the Ice
1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
1 x Disciple of the Ring
Instant(15)
1 x Fall of the Titans
2 x Lightning Axe
3 x Fiery Impulse
3 x Censor
1 x Geistblast
4 x Fiery Temper
1 x Kozilek's Return

Sorcery(10)
4 x Take Inventory
4 x Cathartic Reunion
2 x Collective Defiance
Split(2)
2 x Commit
Enchantment(5)
3 x Sphinx's Tutelage
2 x Fevered Visions
Planeswalker(2)
1 x Chandra, Torch of Defiance
1 x Chandra, Flamecaller
Land(23)
2 x Wandering Fumarole
5 x Island
9 x Mountain
4 x Highland Lake
2 x Sulfur Falls
1 x Geier Reach Sanitarium

Disciple is a big add here, she can close games and buy a lot of time coz when she hits the board it´s like a mini boss battle. Much like Medium Chandra.
Censor is also a big one, double purpose counter-cycle both works great with the deck, when you have Tutelage most opponents hit the panic button and censor punish them big time! if they start playing around it you can always cycle it and trigger tutelage one more time.

PS: I also un-enjoyed Nomad´s deck but now I´m more concerned that I share tastes with Barney and Soup, whats wrong with me?

When I think about adding titi to a deck, I always get a feeling its just gonna e that Fatal Push that's been sitting in my opponent's hand doing nothing all game long...

I may be wrong though...

You are not wrong but you can feed TiTi to a reunion if you suspect that, fatal push certainly made the card worse at the same level that all the other 2cmc creatures, but he can still be useful besides most of your opponent removal is going to be wasted vs this deck, at worse he will buy you a pass to T3

Flaky DCG convinced me to open up your deck again. Here's where my tweaks are:

:u:
1 * Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
2 * Thing in the Ice
1 * Kefnet the Mindful

:b:
1 * Liliana, the Last Hope
2 * Yahenni's Expertise
2 * Never // Return
1 * Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet

:r:
3 * Cathartic Reunion
3 * Fiery Temper
2 * Radiant Flames
2 * Heart-Piercer Manticore
1 * Chandra, Torch of Defiance
1 * Chandra's Ignition

:u::b::r:
2 * Cut //Ribbons
3 * Enigma Drake
2 * Fevered Visions
3 * Unlicensed Disintegration
2 * Dark Intimations

:x:
2 * Cultivator's Caravan

Land:
2 * Island
4 * Swamp
4 * Mountain
2 * Wandering Fumarole
2 * Smoldering Marsh
2 * Sunken Hollow
2 * Drowned Catacomb
2 * Dragonskull Summit
2 * Sulfur Falls
2 * Evolving Wilds

Running solid so far. Hasn't converted me to liking control though. Cheating on the Reunions, I know.

Kefnet is a hard sell for me. I wanted to like him but almost every time he’s ever shown up on my side of the table, it was a letdown. On board with Yahenni’s over Languish and Cut // Ribbons. Losing the Wilds worries me. I know the mana can be slow but 3 colors and double mana symbols in the 3 and 4 mana slots are just a pain to deal with.

Let me sell a little then:

*Instant speed card draw.
*Blocks big flyers and anything else, making the opponent go wider and overcommit so sweepers do more.
*Is immune to languish and Grasp of Darkness.
*Crews Caravan reliably.
*Only costs 3, can just win a game backed up by removal.
*Defense against Gods.
*The deck features a good amount of hand-neutral spells in Reunion, Visions & Intimations so it's not like you're stuck with just land-go every turn.

But it definitely changes the tempo of the game; you have to be patient with it and maybe make tough choices. I find the payoff is huge though.

Haven't had a colored mana problem so far. If you're really worried about it you could go back to a full set of Reunions. I'd probably ditch a Cut or a Drake for that.

Time to finish up Haven's. The first six:

V1-6

Going live now.

V7: No decision against R26 GR stuff. Flooded quite a bit, but Opp wasn't doing much either. Game froze in the end.

V7 (2): Win against R38 GB Counters. Opp gets a Fretwork Colony and Winding Constrictor down on the same turn, but a timely Cut topdeck sends the snake on his way. Youths finish the beatdown from there.

V8: Loss to R3 RB Vamps. I keep a pricey hand with Monument, but can't get going fast enough to race and don't find the remove to deal with the impending vamps.

V9: Win against R38 GR Ramp. Opp gets Greenbelt Rampager and Tracker down to my Bloodmad and Kalitas. Opp never deals with Kalitas and can't catch up.

V10: Win against R14 GB Counters. Guess it's Fretwork Colony night? This one gets Fiery Temper'd early and Opp doesn't get much else going.

Looks like another 8-2 to me, onto the scoring -

Wins: 8 points from record.
BQ: 4. The removal is a bit underwhelming and there's slight potential to get jammed with 4/5 drops and fall behind. For the most part though, this'll win any race and has enough trickiness to compete in a variety of matchups. Monument seems rather shrug-worthy with fewer low cost madness spells (compared to the original) to work with.
EV: 4. Deck flow felt a bit conflicted at times with fatties and taplands slowing down an otherwise aggressive hand. Solid otherwise.
CB: 3.5. Checks the boxes - good for digging, discard value (Ifnir), and madness spells. Lili can take advantage of binned creatures as well. Reunion is rarely helpful to see in hand while in a close race though, and this deck can't afford to spend a lot of time durdling.

Total: 19.5/25.

I have tried to sell Kefnet, but he has never worked for me, at best I draw 1-2 cards, on Flaky's deck I prefer Ob all the way.

AI Hard 1 - Victory! That was easy enough. Especially since the AI seems to ignore Menace when it decides to fight or not. Dumb AI! You’re so dumb! Three Insolent Neonates just wandering unmolested with their Man Ass!

AI Hard 2 - Victory! Once again, Kefnet proves his dorky Worthlessness! He just stood there with his beak in a book while I vamped him so hard, guys.

AI Hard 3 - Victory! For a deck that wants to go as fast as Madness Vampires, Catheter Reunion is really an inefficient discard outlet, I find. And does every goddamn AI deck include Heaven//Earth magically when I have Archfiend of Ifnir in play? I call bull puck!

Versus 1 - Loser? What?! Stupid izzet decks. All counters and burns. Where’s the fun in playing against one of those. Anyway. Finishing rank 33.

Versus 2 - Loser! I feel like the Archfiend of Ifnir isn’t wirth it in this deck. He gives outnmaybe one counter then eats removal, despite the fact that I’ve got him on a low removal diet. I got a midgame mana flood, despite the help of my opponent’s Fevered Visions, and by the time it was over, he had all the bits in place for his suite of counterspells and Essence Fluxes on his Torrential Gearhulk and I couldn’t recover. I had him at 1 before he swung the game around. Finishing rank 32.

Versus 3 - Victory? Huh, the opponent quit when we were pretty evenly matched. In fact, it was madness vamps vs. madness vamps! Once again, a midgame mana flood, and once again, Cathartic Reunion was only useful to help move past the flood. Finishing rank 33.

Versus 4 - Victory! A proper victory, this time. Everything was textbook, from the T2 Stromkirk Condemned, right up to the Bloodhall mini-Skysovereign at the end. Finishing rank 34.

Versus 5 - Loser! Hey, look at that! A mana flood to start the game. Fantastic. Finishing rank 33. Just like Jesus.

Haven, whatever you did to this deck, you need to undo it. Ifnir never worked out for me, mana flooding was a recurring problem, and Cathartic Reunion never triggered any madness for me.

You’re at 2-3-0, and that’s not a good place to be.

Ok update , I took both my first place decks out for another spin and DCG **** list it’s first game, finishing with an overall record of 8-2 and got deleted

Mowies Reaper went on a 7-0 streak brining it’s record to 15-1. So I have made the deck all shiny and chrome as it is awaited in Valhalla . I will continue to play it. Brilliant discard machine

Both decks retain their awarded scoring points as before though

Uh-oh, originally read the judging deadline as Dec 10th instead of 10 days from the update, tomorrow. Should be ok if I finish the last two by tomorrow night Flaky? I'll get started on mine now.

AI 1: Loss to Bant Lifegain/wide. Regal Caracal comes down and I can't answer quickly enough.

AI 2: Win against Bant stuff. Hazoret gets going early and there's no looking back.

Onto Versus!

V1 Win against R8 UG Ramp. Opp only plays Glyph Keeper and two Wild Sizes, not enough to keep up with the pressure.

V2: Loss to R38 GBC Counters. Didn't find third land till 18 deep, couldn't get off the ground.

V3: Drawn out win against R2 GB Elves. Back and forth for a while with Haunted Dead keeping me in the game. Eventually a HD and Scrounger knock the Opp within range of Ribbons for the win.

V4: Win against R4 BC stuff. I get some damage in before Opp slows me down and establishes a board. Burn and Bloodrage eventually end the game.

V5: Win against R40 Temur energy. Opp gets Bristling Hydra down early and we enter a cautious race. Key to the City helps me pull the cards I need and gives unblockable a couple times to get the win.

V6: Win against R2 RW stuff. Opp tries to cling to life but can't deploy in time.

V7: Quick win over R16 GR Wolves. Opp casts I think two spells before I mow him down.

V8: Win against R35 Grixis control. Opp has no answers to two early Bloodrages and a reanimated HD to crew Copter seals the deal.

V9: Win against R2 GW Vehicles. I land Hazoret early and Opp never gets anything comparable on the table.

V10: Win against R3 GW stuff. Opp gets some creature/clue synergy going, but it's too late. I finish the game with an Alms of the Vein.

My deck finishes at a 9-1 record. I'll run Mowie's and finish the scoring tomorrow night.

Dcg, Flaky our beloved bureaucrat did put a clausure on the fist post where it states that the deadline can be extended if someone fills executive forms UB-40 and bakes him an extension cake.

Apology cakes, extension cakes... are there any other kinds of cakes I should or should not be aware of around here?

Also, I am on Cucho's mill deck, then I have another one to review after that, I think. As I am at work right now, working very hard, Dave, I will have to wait until tomorrow to finish being judgemental.

Hooray, I'm not alone! I'll probably finish judging tomorrow as well then.

It also occurred to me that I'd have very little time to play following Unstable draft tonight, so all the better.
