If all the different aspects of myself were suicidal that would not bode well for my mental health.

I mean, I'm not denying it...but you know...just saying.

Jac not claiming even if he knows he's going to die and there's no flip is a bit weird.

I'm already dying and do not have an information role. Why would I claim?

Also, how do you know there'd be no flip? We've had deaths with flips and deaths without.

To provide the town with info before it is lost with your death?

There might be a flip revealing your alignment, but there has been no flip revealing roles\abilities.

And I claimed to not have an ability whose information would do any good.

I mean, let's say hypothetically that I have a voteblocking ability that I never used. If I shared that info, what would it bring to the discussion table? Nothing.

If my role was extremely similar to one that was already claimed, I would've said something much much earlier to counterclaim someone. But I'm not a cop and I have no night-time abilities. So there's nothing for me to share.

I'm much, much more interested in finding out who wrote the letter to me. But I also cannot provide more info on that than I already have given.

The post I made roughly 100 posts ago is still mostly valid. With the exception that I now know more about Rubik/Hobgoblin.

So for me it would be between Rubik/Rag/Silly and perhaps Alt.
But I've mentioned several times that because of the timing of his claims that I trust Alt.

Rag needs to be solved of sorts. The information provided is nice and all, but in a relative vacuum there is not much we can do with it. Even an alignment flip would give some info after all. Namely that he was speaking truthfully. And we can discuss the consequences of the various results he received after that.

Rubik...On one hand he can counteract JD with the double votes and all, but on the other the suicidal tendencies are not exactly looking out for town survival xD

For Silly I point to my post 100 posts ago. I trusted them at the start of the game, they acted weird in the mid section, but lately they've been doing normal again. This does coincide with the claimed win-con change however, so I have the feeling I can trust it.

There are however imo 2 unknowns that need to be discussed.
1) Who sent me the message that I'd die?
2) How can we deal with HW?

I talked about being a rather odd fruit vendor d1. Didn't drop the story when I rolled a 3 with the d4 on n2 and only announced that my abilities were randomly chosen and I was not able to send harmless messages every night when I rolled a number other than 3 on n3.

Today I rolled a 3. Wanna take a guess about which message my ability sent and to who? Pro tip: it is called fear ray and states that the message is a lie.

But seriously, if I was able to hurt someone with it I wouldn't have claimed to be a fruit vendor, if you guys wanted jac out of the picture you have to vote him.

After today Rubik doesn't counteract me. He literally controls the lynch with his ability to force another player to vote how he sees fit in addition to him having two votes as well. So if you're not 100% sure Rubik is town you should be voting him right now.

By that logic, JD, I get lynched today and you get lynched tomorrow and town probably loses the game.

And that's assuming town doesn't have more vig abilities.

but it is incredibly specific so there is not a very high guarantee that it will actually work

it's a super special kill

that only kills somebody if a normal kill would fail

like, they get doc protected

or some other shenanigans happen that make them immune to a regular nightkill

was going to use it on pk at some point to get around the "hey i can protect myself" ****

but then he randomly got lynched

and given that i'm very uncertain that it will be able to find another good target

i would rather just use a different ability during the night instead

The difference between me and you Rubik is that I'm self aligned just has to survive and you're not. If you're not town you're either mafia who is directly opposing towns win or a secret alignment with who knows what win con that, based on the only secret win con claimed so far, also possibly can't win with town. Thus if town isn't certain you're with them letting you control the Lynch from tomorrow on is a horrible idea. Furthermore I don't actually have that power because I'm not Co-opting votes. People are still free in the will to oppose my votes with their own. You take that option away from at least one party and exercise even more control over the Lynch in doing so.
