Because I really want Curfew to be Modern-legal, and I miss illusions.

I'm actually kinda surprised that Curfew didn't pick up a reprint in Kaladesh considering that it would have fit nicely into the Consul's flavor and would have been fun to use re-setting the various ETB mechanics of that set.

They probably felt it was too cheap. Heck, they might have even tested it as a possible reprint and found it to be too effective.

But as far as stuff I'd like to see reprinted, Edgewalker, Profane Prayers, and Book Burning are pretty high on my "wish they were in Modern" list.
Of those, Profane Prayers is really the only one I think would actually have a chance of being reprinted.

Would Grim Tutor be broken in Standard/Modern by the way? I mean, as a Standard player I never used Diabolic Tutor.
Also Grim Tutor had Oracle errata to it where it shuffled your library, in case you're wondering.

Oh, don't forget about Piracy Charm. That seems like a good candidate for reprinting in rivals.

The islandwalk makes it not that great for reprint purposes. Sure, landwalk is deciduous, but if they can avoid it they're going to.

Actually landwalk has been officially retired.

Oh. When was this announced? Nevermind. Misread the article when I originally read it, or something to that effect.

Also, that card doesn't comply with the color pie. Blue doesn't get discard or +X/-X effects.

Blue gets erratic mutation even if it hasn't come up lately. Changing power and toughness, particularly in inverse of one another, is something blue is allowed to do.
Discard... Well, only of your own cards.

As for the question, I'd sorely wish to see alabaster dragon reprinted. Maybe eternal dragon again if they'd put the original art on the bloody thing.
Just in general, it would be nice to see older, more offbeat cards get reprinted.

Erratic Mutation came from Planar Chaos, just like Piracy Charm (and Shaper Parasite). It was part of the Planar Chaos color pie, not the one for normal Magic. Outside of Planar Chaos, there are no mono-blue cards that can give a target creature +X/-X.

I mean...Pemmin's Aura targets a creature when it's put on the stack...:incognito:

The flavor text on Ixalan's Favorable Winds has me a bit hopeful that they'll reprint Winged Coatl in the next set.

False Demise suddenly looks a lot better now that I realized it could work on your opponent's creatures...

New account, made for dickery. Might as well have some kind of virus-loaded GIF on top of that.

It wouldn't kill them to drop new art on reliquary tower so the stupid building isn't falling over

They could even just reprint the FNM Art.

Coatls are Aztec in origin, are they not?
