Hey folks!

I'm in the big TO tomorrow morning downtown. Anyone or any gaming spot I can get to? I'm right around the Air Canada Centre.

I did go to a draft in Toronto a couple years ago... it was in the neighborhood of UoT. There is a (horrible, clunky) site for looking this stuff up on wizards.com.

It was fine but cross-pod which was way more weird before it was the standard MTGO "league" way.

Thanks, but I'm gone from there now. Next time I'm down in Toronto I'll update this post if I can!

Wasn't Toronto the birth place of the cube format?

Cube is where you use a collection of your own cards to draft with. Basically, you make your own custom limited format. Usually cubes have a ridiculous power level.

I've always wanted to make a *low* power cube, just chock full of interesting jank that doesn't make the grade even in EDH, like Homelands cards, Veteran Bodyguard, that kind of stuff. Most of it with complex and unique abilities. "The Wretched does what?"
