My caveat for being able to lie where my alignment is concerned exists, primarily, to protect my allies. When Self, I have no allies, and thus will usually admit to being Self.

Of course, in the case of this game, the Mafia team is just one person and thus doesn't have allies either, so perhaps, in this case, I would? It would depend on what the role looks like.

But all of this conjecture is a moot point unless you and/or NeoSilk want to start identifying some logical fallacies that I may or may not have made which give credence to the supposition that I might not be Town. Until then, it's all a bunch of hogwash and slander. Throwing mud around blindly trying to see if it might stick. And I don't know about you, but I'm not really interested in that kind of scum-hunting.

Claiming to be self in this game sounds like a pretty poor play, the likelihood that you'd qualify as a threat is relatively large. I don't think we just need one lynch to win.
