Baba, you are more than just a friend to me. A confidant, and partner, a soulmate. it goes kind of like this, in the hierarchy:

Babassoonist
My wife
Black Barney's mom
No Goblins Allowed friends
The janitor
My kids
The bus driver
That guy who mugged me that one time
Black Barney (who probably isn't even black!)
(*put one more witty thing here when I get around to it)

They are slightly more considerate when they take my money. They don't punch me in the stomach quite as hard and rarely ever use any knives.

Really? Mass Effect 2 is perfection? That's a funny way of saying 'kinda terrible actually'. Don't get me wrong - mechanically it's a dream compared to the inventory management simulator that was ME1 and some of the companions and their respective side-quests are good but when that entire thing is attached to the terribleness that is the main plot the whole things suffers.

Still not as bad as ME3 though.

Even if he makes blatantly moronic posts like these, I'd still want to wish a very happy birthday to Garren. All the best.

I want a Mass Effect MMO. Scrap Anthem and start development on Mass Effect Online immediately. But do a better job of it than Bethesda did with Elder Scrolls online.

Genuine question - does the off topic thread stay here in the Magic Duels subforum or does it get transferred to the Arena one?

So I watched Star Trek: Discovery. All I discovered was Egyptian Klingons, bland acting and CGI ships that are outclassed by the props of older series. Hopefully it gets better; I'm willing to wait to see if Jason Isaacs brings anything to the table.

Still a better love story than Twilight.

Also The Orville - question is, which is preferred or do I need to watch both just because it's trek? ....ish?

NGA XComers are great, but I still think my Xcom co-op squadmate is the best. Hitlerella Blackler- The neon yellow 40K Marine armorclad, heavy weapons specialist from S.Africa with the haircut of Guile from Street Fighter. We're using a mod that assigns abilities at random, and Hitlerella's promotions keep coming up all rockets. When she dies I'm making a Stalina.

Gran Tourismo Sport comes out next week. They showed a trailer last night during the Monday Night Football game. It looks **** briliant. Graphix are off the hook, or off the chain, or lit, or whatever the kids are saying these days. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Been a huge fan and have played it since the original Playstation version.

Looks like a lot of fun!
I may wait a bit to get it as I really want a nice driving wheel/seat to play it with....
Oh ****!
It's VR!
Think I want to wait until we get our VR setup also.

Edit: Super WoW. Over 60 gigs of hard drive space needed!

I wanted to troll a Facebook feed today so bad but I'm sure it would have blown up with my family so I'll post it here to get it out of my system cuz I think it's just too funny

My half-sister in law got her dream job of being a stewardess so she made a post today fromGeorge Bush airport in Texas (hi DJ) cuz it's her first day on the job. She just writes, "here I go!" And The feed is filled with encouraging friends and family writing, "good luck!" And "best of luck!" And such. I really want to just post, "let's roll!!" But I just don't have the stones to do it

I feel better getting it out here at least

Having the game will only give me more incentive to get VR and a steering wheel/pedals. I can't wait to see what some of these guys do with the VR. I'm anticipating full VR rigs where your seat/stearingwheel/shifter all lean into corners with input from the VR. As a driving simulator, instead of a "racing game", I'd assume it's possible.

edit: that was expected, the ps3 version was 50 gigs of download on top of what was on the disk.

Went to see Thor: Ragnarok last night. Mildly entertaining, jokes are less refined than earlier marvel movies, bit of cgi here and there. I don't regret seeing it, but if I had to wait for it to pop up somewhere later, I would not regret waiting either. A few fun cameos.

Continuously visiting online forums that refuse to die, and keep posting in them, to help them not die, is fun.
