i finished doki doki literature club and the starting part was boring but starting at the delivery point and up to the point where the game gets meta was pretty good and i didn't really like the meta stuff because it felt kind of weak to me and i would have rathered there had been spookier stuff going on than "self-aware videogame" but that is whatever. I also wish there was a little more horror segments involving natsuki because she seemed like she had the most interesting "twisted background" with the foreshadowed stuff about her dad and all the sort of vague complexes/expectations she has for things. Monika was the least interesting character to me but the song at the end was a touching moment.

after my save files were deleted the first time i reloaded a lot and played a few paths simultaneously (though they ended up not being much different at that point). I ended up more or less stopping once i finished the game the first time though. I googled some stuff mostly to find out if there was any significant natsuki content i was missing and when it seemed like there wasn't i stopped.
